Typewriter is cached but only 3rd party sellers. Probably Amazon AU as seller when was cached was constantly out of stock so prices not recorded. That's my guess.

Look for a Brother portable, they’re readily available (which means parts can be easy to find) and can often be had quite cheaply at less than $50. Don’t get one from a secondhand dealer as they’ll gouge you for prices. Brothers are nearly indestructible but still have a decent action. Another good option is an Olivetti Lettera 22. They’ll be more expensive but the action is smoother if it’s in good working order.
