I paid full price for one of these not long ago. Cant speak to other gimbals as this is my first but I'm happy with the product and love the magnetic attachment method. There's something great about when the phone snaps out of your hand and into the gimbal.

          Cant speak for the dji osmo 5, but I have the 3. It's for video and not so much photos. It turns shaky videos that gives headache to more cinematic like shot because of the added stability.

          The software allows you to track your face which is pretty cool.

          Overall, if videography is something you are interested in or live streaming, I can see this beneficial, otherwise, waste of money as it is something extra to carry around. I use mine for travel videos

            @azngamer: Second this, I own the 5 and it makes videos much more viewable. Though it will never reach a proper set-up level given the limitation of phone cameras and the osmo itself. Videos will also look smooth and stabilised but not at a level that you won't notice any shake at all. The app also includes a series of mini-films with tutorials for anyone to follow. Also, the only time this is good for photos is when taking a long exposure shot such as in night mode.

      Yes it comes with a clip and a tripod. And no, this thing does not need a magsafe compatible iPhone to work.

    This will be great for all holiday videos and photos. But with Covid can't use the full potential atm.

    Is this the cheapest?
    Is this the best for this price point?
