Ergonomic Seat Cushion

Hi,

Can someone please recommend a quality ergonomic seat cushion (home office set up).
I've bought one from Kmart - https://www.kmart.com.au/product/memory-foam-seat-cushion/28…
Safe to say it has not pulled up. It simply becomes squishy without much support.

Any help is appreciated!

If you are going to rest your bum on it for 8 hours - you will be hard pressed to find a decent cushion at a reasonable price.

I used https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/kensington… when I broke my coccyx and had to take some pressure off of it. This was the only cushion that supported my ~130 kilo body every single day for more than 8 months (Generally sitting for 2 hours at a stretch - as I had to move my body every so often). I still have it and is very comfortable. And yeah, I bought a lot of crap off ebay and others before deciding to pay $40 for this cushion.

    • Thanks! This is helpful, I'll give it a shot.
Yeh, I saw some cushions towards 3 figures, and couldn't justify it (that's the stooge in me).

I posted some time ago looking for a car seat cushion because I spend a lot of time on my bum as a surveillance operative.
Tried around 10 cushions ranging in price from $15 to $60 but none were suitable.
I ended up splashing around $200 on a ROHO inflatable cushion. After some tweaking to get the pressure just right, I am very, very happy with it. It's designed for a normal chair but works fine in the car.

    • Thanks, sounds like you've done the homework. The reviews look pretty good too, did it take long to get the pressure right?
Also, I read a review that it leaks air over time, how did that go for you?

I initially inflated the cushion quite firmly and then released the air over a period of a few days until it was just right for me.
I can't say that I've noticed any leaks but I guess that's the nature of air and why you need to monitor your car's tyre pressures.
Perhaps inflating the cushion with nitrogen is the way to go 😊
