Saw this banner pop up on the ozbargain main page for $75 off first order. Tried their food from the $50 off deal and it was amazing, but small.

    For Sydney only.

    • +1

Yes I think so, I just tried to order to Melbourne and it wouldn't go through.

      "Where do you currently deliver?"

We are currently delivering across the Sydney Metropolitan Region. Please check out our delivery page for our list of suburbs and additional delivery details. We are working hard to expand our delivery zones - stay tuned for updates!

It's probably worth adding in description there's no minimum spend, you can buy $75 worth and just pay $7.50 shipping or buy $125 worth for $50 including delivery. Wish this was in Melbourne.

      • Yeah, I was hoping this was for Melbourne as well. Oh well!

  • It's not even first order, i ordered last time with $50 off and now its $75 off. Thank you chef's prep!

    • -3

Shhh. I did the same but I don't want my order cancelled.

On another note, these guys are definitely going to go broke from these two deals lol, their cash flow must be on struggle city right now. Who is going to say no to 4 good meals for $10..

      • +1

        Start-up meets Ozbargain

  • +4

These meals are really expensive. $19 for 1 dish?

    • you can get 3-4 meals for less than 10 bucks too if you try..

    • +1

Sounds about right to me given that they are sourcing these from restaurants, they clearly aren't trying to compete with Youfoodz, Hellofresh etc. Whether that will work out for them is a different story but I'm happy to take advantage of the $75 coupon in the meantime lol. Cost me $10 for 3 meals delivered.

  • +1

    ummm. $2.5/meal not bad.

  • These tbh were pretty bloody tasty when I had them the first time.

  • I had been declined twice any reason behind that ?lol

    • +6

      because you are rotten….potato….

  • Should be pretty decent work lunches! Thanks :)

  • Not sure why this is getting upvotes… most of the items are sold out :(

    • They weren't mostly sold out when it was posted.

  • +5

Virtually everything sold out - 2 choices left in the $ mains - 9 left in the $$ mains. Did they get Ozbargained or is it always like this.

  • Thanks OP. I had a $25 voucher from my previous order, and managed to get in quick before the cupboards were stripped bare 😉

  • +2

$20 for some rice…. What the actual f#%k?

    • +1

Yeah those prices are pretty insane. Basically CBD restaurant prices.

  • -1

is it really sold out most of the meal? before i create my account good if i can know….

    • -1

there's a couple of things available but I am assuming they'll come back tomorrow?

  • +1

    Dinner sorted tomorrow :)

  • all sold out pretty much

  • How does it compare with my muscle chef or yoofoodz

  • Only thing left is $20 rice…

    • +1

it's Nigerian rice, i would feel scammed for getting it..

  • I hit up a few pantry items. Few bags of jerky and chilli sauces

  • Managed to get some fancy rice, chilli, honey, and dessert

    Thanks

  • +1

    it was amazing, but small.

    That's what she said…?

    • I never hear amazing

      • Maybe don't groan so loudly.

  • got some free honey, thanks

  • All the good stuff is gone

  • Grabbed some honey and jerky

  • Damn missed this.

  • +1

Pricing is a joke. They charge $22.10 for muesli that would be $5 or so elsewhere, so I searched the supplier store. Retail price from the store is $15.
    https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:t-tHon…

Basically you're paying 50% more on retail prices + delivery. Given wholesale pricing, the cost of this offer to them is about $25.

Don't know who they're marketing to, but can't see people paying that.

    • after all you are an ozbargainer and the over price only meant that you win less.

  • damn hesitated yesterday thought today they will restock, still none

    • they are saying they'll restock so fingers crossed.

      • but the promo exp tomorrow. yeah crossing fingers now

        • So the promo code still works, it just items are out of stock?

  • nothing available, briefly saw impossible meat lasagne and choc bake your own, then flicked the page and sold out, meh.. hope they get more avail

  • somethings keep popping back in stock but there’s a message at checkout

SAVE75 discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart

  • +1

    Has anyone received theirs yet?

    • Received mine. Ordered 3 items only received 2.

    • Got everything I ordered in less than 24 hours. Pretty impressive.

    • Got everything I ordered too. Winner winner chicken dinner :)

    • Got mine delivered yesterday, a finger lickin' selection of chicken from Butter, would certainly contemplate ordering again (especially the wings).

  • SAVE75 = doesn't work now.

"Enter a valid discount code or gift card"

    damn

  • +1

Received mine. Questioning the integrity of one meal with the lid partially open and another covered in glad wrap o.o

  • Has anyone not received theirs yet? I haven't got mine 😔

  • +2

The code seems to be working again. Managed to placed an order now.

    • +1

Yeap, appears the code is working again and some items are in stock.

  • -1

duh $19 for 2 pies… is the chef a superstar or what

  • Not a great selection.. looks like they have some great meals I would have been interested in trying. However got the following for $14.95 delivered

    House made muesli
    Diavolo pasta
    Mexican chilli con carne
    Chicken pies

  • hmmm the shipping is not free if using the code

  • Just tried the spicy pork belly and polenta. Tiny serving size (or I'm just fat 🤣) but delicious. Appears the code is working again as well.

    • But first order only. Two different people same adress are considered as different customer?

      • I ordered once to work and once to my home address using a different email.

  • Mine is due today, but no delivery text yet

    • same

    • received

      • Same. Wow they are tiny. Hopefully they make up for that in taste..

  • Got mine today - only 2 of the 3 items I bought arrived. However, I did get notified one item was out of stock after I purchased it. They said I would get a refund for that item, so I am unclear if it will be a credit for another purchase or back on my card?

    • +1

Same here, got mine today. I ordered 2 items, 1 out of stock. Please let me know if you got a refund and how? Exxy given I only received 1 and paid for shipping

      • will do mate, but they quoted 5-7 business days for the refund.

        • I received $0.29 refund, amount exceeding the code value which means I paid full shipping cost for 1 item. Not such a good deal.

          • @Ottie: Same thing happened to me… not a great deal, especially as the food was very average.
Wouldn't buy again, even with the discount.

  • Huh why they are frozen? I thought freshly made

    • yep I was a bit disappointed in this. Everything was frozen and the instruction were to thaw overnight in the fridge. I was expecting it to come fresh and we could freeze it if needed.

      • Yup. There is a date but how can we be sure that was the date they cook could be any days ago

    • I was surprised too. Made me think it was the leftovers that they froze.

      • +1

That could be highly posible. I can imagine bourke street bakery items left over at the end of the day and frozen then resold. That's why people are complaining that there's no stock because they don't have any left overs. Just a bold guess… who knows.

  • Has anyone not received their order? I ordered Tuesday, thought I would receive yesterday, still nothing and no communication?

  • +1

what i got was worth $7.50 shipping fee, but definitely not worth $75 lol

  • Got half a container of curry in one (didn't even cover the entire bottom, it was like 3 spoonfuls) and forgot my rice in another. I dunno if anyone would pay full price for these considering they're also frozen, but the discount was good.

  • So far everything I’ve tried from this place has been crap.
Paella tasted like an Uncle Ben’s Microwave rice.
    The Gnocci was like slop.
This food is completely over priced. If it was actually any good it might be worth buying, maybe the quality is lost when it get frozen. ?
