Provided you have someone to play with (cause it's mandatory split screen co-op), this is about as good as a co-op adventure game gets.
I'd go so far as to say it was the Game of the Year 2021. A must play for any gamers out there.

Yes, you can download all of your games to whatever PS console you are logged in to and is compatible.
I pre-ordered the ps5 console (estimated 31 march). Can I still buy this game now without the console? I assume I might be able to just create an account and buy it on my computer, and then the purchase is attached to the account. But I'm really just guessing.
Yes that is how it works. All digital purchases are tied/attached to your account.
Cheers. I keep getting an error when purchasing though (very unhelpful message "something went wrong"). I guess I'll try later, looks like the special doesn't expire for a while.
Edit: a quick Google seems to suggest that you get this error and is unable to make purchases if you have not linked an actual console to your account. Sigh.

Did you create a PSN account first on your phone or computer?
I always thought once you did that and had access to the PSN store you could make digital purchases despite owning a playstation at all. Sorry about that..
If anyone else is in the same situation, the only way I could find for getting around the need to link a console before a purchase is to fill up your wallet with money from playstation gift cards.
I tried it (bought $15+$10 card from jbhifi) and it actually did work.

I know this is the PS version but FYI this is on Game Pass for those who have it, I pre ordered the physical copy from Amazon the other day and then found out. This is a geat price though, however would prefer the physical copy for resale after playing etc.
