  Does anyone know if it has illustration/pictures on some of the pages? My kids get bored when there aren't at least a few pictures in the book.

    Cant say for sure., but I would guess there would be a very limited amount of illustrations. I had a similar set when I was a kid, and that was the reason I never finished reading them. On the other hand, I had the Enid Blyton Faraway tree and wishing chair books, which I read to death, wonderful books with at least some quality line art. Highly recommend those, which also come in a bigger format hardback with more imagery.
    They have this pack https://www.bigw.com.au/product/magic-faraway-tree-3-copy-sl… for the same deal. Don't know what the illustrations are like, but at that price definitely worth a punt.
