Unusual request: does anyone have a microwave they could recommend that has a friendly melody rather than just a flat BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP, please? Preferably in the < $200 price range.
Need to buy one in a household with someone who prefers friendlier audio from their appliances 😅

Dont watch your ipad/wifi device on the same kitchen bench where the microwave is, it seems to interrupt the signal, at least more so than other microwaves I've had.

I've got 2 unifi access points in the house which provide great coverage however I have seen some devices such as nest hubs disconnect and they never end up reconnecting until power cycled. Always thought it was related to buggy unifi firmware or badly designed wifi client devices, will look into the timing of the dropouts and microwave usage patterns in future lol.
Many (most? all?) microwaves emit noise at ~2.4 GHz which is one of the frequency bands used by Wi-Fi. Depending on where your microwave and Wi-Fi AP are located, you can have significant network issues when running the microwave.
Not limited to LGs my old Panasonic does the same too

Tip: don't set the clock. Allows you to have a nice clean look to the front with nothing on the display
