AnyCubic has put some of their resin 3D printers on sale again, including the just-launched brand new 6K model.

  1. Photon Mono X 6K - 9.25” (23.5cm) LCD
    $858 including delivery (normally $878)
    Print volume: 245 x 192 x 120 mm (HxWxD)
    Resolution: 5760 x 3600 px

  2. Photon Mono X 4K
    $640 including delivery (was $669)
    Print volume: 245 x 192 x 120 mm (HxWxD)
    Resolution: 3840 x 2400 px

  3. Photon Mono 2K
    $229 $237 including delivery (was $256)
    Print volume: 165 x 130 x 80 mm (HxWxD)

All of these 3D printers work with standard 405nm UV-curing resin, which AnyCubic also sells on their Australian eBay store.

  • anycubic don't use lychee or chitubox slicers right? you need to use the proprietary slicer which is kind of clunky

    • Chitubox supports the AnyCubic models, so it’s another option if you prefer that slicer.

  • Thinking of getting into 3D printing as a hobby (would do as full time work but not sure how hard that would be tbh)..

    Can anyone guide me to what these are like. Especially compared to the other 3D printers.

      Hey, I think the first thing you want to do is decide whether you want to start with Resin (SLA/LCD) printers, or go down the FDM (melted plastic) path. The different types have different use cases. Resin is higher resolution, and lets you print far more detailed objects. FDM produces parts that are mechanically stronger, and more durable (less brittle). What kind of things did you want to print?
