      Sending to Ukraine I hope!

  • Ordered one on Thursday. I see the refurbishment as an extra pair of eyes looking over something so it can't hurt.
They come with fresh batteries too

Should be delivered on Monday so I'll report back.

Curiously AusPost says there are 2 parcels in the delivery but I haven't ordered anothing else.

Very likely Aust AC cable for the second parcel, speaking from experience purchasing Kogan direct import goods.

    • how is it?

You are comparing refurbished with new price!

Better deal is $1499 new at JB, https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/dji-mavic-air-2-4k-drone-…, minus 5% code this weekends

    • I missed the 5% code. :-(

But heads up, bundle also available at this price still at Anaconda and Amazon!

      Also, for a $100 more I found a non-bundle Air 2S.

Apparently DJI has reduced the capabilities for the Ukrainian military DJI drones while enhancing those for the Russians , if this is true I would not be buying any more DJI products myself.

Stop spitting BS. DJI Drones are NOT sold for military use - but both sides use it as cheap scouting agents. The Ukraine Vice PM went and asked DJI to Geo-fence the Russian DJI Drones and not allow it into Ukraine. DJI has responded in a tweet:

      https://twitter.com/DJIGlobal/status/1504206884240183297

Basically they are saying no one is obliged to register their drones with DJI and they cannot identify the drones being used on either side. If they want to geo-fence the entire Ukraine, they can request this: but it will mean that both sides will NOT be able to fly within Ukraine zones because it applies to everything and not just specific units since none of this information is registered with DJI themselves. Not to mention it most likely won't work if people don't update their geo-fencing data anyway (which most knowledgeable DJI users don't do unless they did it by accident).

      • No need to jump on me with your incorrect info , I'm relaying what I have read and seen on many news outlets, you are wrong about military not using DJI , they do heavily.

Also I owned 2 DJI drones you will not ever take off without registering your drone, they know where every drone is and who is flying it thanks to drones heavy use of GPS.

You're the one spitting propaganda bs not me.

DJI drones will not take off if they are pushing a firmware upgrade so they may have no choice.

Of course they use it for reconnaissance both sides do and the Russians also have the capability of seeing other drones that are not there's and use that info to pinpoint attacks thanks to DJI .

News outlets are very reliable I must say

        • No. You are wrong. Just because they make a general purpose drone that is then purchased by the military to do things other than what it was meant to - does not make DJI military provider for military drones. They were never designed to differentiate sides of wars or even for their own company to track and disable drones because they favour one side over another. Kind of like the military may purchase a number of different Toyota Hiluxes because they are relatively cheap and very sturdy that can also be used for military purposes, but doesn't make them "Military".

"Read from many news outlets".. LOL. the same ones that pushes conspiracy theories with zero evidence.. and you're posting here on OZB about it?

  • Can anyone recommend the Air 2s (not flymore) for $1529?

Have a 10% voucher from Kogan atm for 24 hours and am about ready to pull the pin on my first drone.
