Hi guys, thinking about pulling the trigger to purchase the Dyson V8 Absolute for $638 as part of the Afterpay sales.
Are there better options within this price?
Have hardwood (bamboo) floors throughout.

This is a really good suggestion, especially considering it’s hard floors throughout. Almost any vacuum will do for all hard floors. With that said the Fluffy head which (I think?) is included with the V8 absolute is excellent… decisions!

I legit don't know which Dyson to buy either. Even after a breakdown on each model, each have their pros and cons. Interested to see what others say as well.i'd pick the (yes larger and heavier) Miele over a Dyson any day. They're unbreakable.
i've had my Dyson V8 Absolute since 2016, just replaced with a genuine battery this year. So it will probably last a couple more years.
From a older Miele machine with the cord, we probably vacuum 2-3 times a year, with a Dyson you basically vacuum everyday because its just so handy :)
Going for a corded vacuum to a cordless makes a word of differenceAfter this Dyson gives up I will probably move onto the Samsung Jets with the mop attachment lol
I'm also looking at getting my first Dyson and the more I look the more confused I get……so many different models / variations.
Our office recently got one and I thought it was really good, so I thought maybe I'd buy the same model but I can't find the model number on it. Can any Dyson expert tell me what model it is from the photos below?

The V10 is the only model with an in line dustbin but no screen.

Hi guys, trying to decide between the Dyson V8 Absolute or the LG A9 MULTI.
Hard bamboo floors through.
Price is the same right now ~$638.
LG seems to have the advantage with the 2 batteries.
But otherwise which is the better vacuum at this price?
Why do you need it today? You’re probably better off buying a Xaomi Vacuum or waiting for a discount.
Afterpay sales going on. Don't think these go much cheaper anyway.

hmm? v8 absolute comes with fluffy roller doesn't it? you won't have a problem on hard floors then. those things are beast.

legendary servicing and warranty too. by no means abuse it, but it's not unheard of to get almost your entire unit replaced (on the spot) if you're having suction issues. happened to me and others.
So what did you choose?
Dyson V8 Absolute - but could not complete purchase as I only signed up to Afterpay yesterday and it's giving me a limit of $600.
Ended up picking the Dyson as I felt it was the more tried and trusted brand/model compared to the LG A9 MULTI.
So now waiting for another sale! I did note that last year it dropped to around $550 couple of times so let's see.
go the v7, mine has run everyday for 3+ years, still works fine, and save yourself at least $300
