Recommendations on Ring Size Increase

Hello

I have a gents simple ring. It's very slightly too small. Need to increase size

How much can I expect to pay?
Any recommendations in Syd (west syd)

Many thanks :)

Depends on material. Some like ceramic cannot be resized. Just ask any local jeweller.

    • Agree. If it's a cast ring, resizing is a nightmare bordering on impossible.

Jeweller advice is needed. A manufacturing Jeweller would be best.

I'd make sure you use graduated sizes and all with a flared base, for expanding your small gentleman's ring.

    • With silicone lube?

  • I used these guys about 7 years ago to resize a ring - https://chrislewisjewellers.com.au/ - I was impressed with their work.
They manufactured a ring for me and resized something for my wife.

  • If it is pure metal, heat it in an induction heater then use an expander. Plenty on youtube.

  • bend and stretch…reach for the stars lol

If you are talking about a gold/silver ring, there was a jeweller at Mt Druitt Westfield (he was in Plumpton before that) who I have taken some rings to for resize/repair. Not sure how west you are though. Mostly white gold, some yellow gold, I was pretty happy with his work and he was well priced. From memory a white gold ladies ring resize was around $60 about 5 years ago. Yellow gold would be different as it doesn't need rhodium plating, also depends on the how many ct it is. Not sure if he's still there as I haven't to the area for a few years, but I just had a quick google and I think it was Santos Customs Jewellers.
