Been waiting for the season pass to drop as $60 was way too much.
Comes with 3 DLCs and Blood Dragon Classic Edition which is awesome, so decent bang for your buck here.
The Gold Edition which comes with the base game + season pass is $74.97 for those who own neither.
It wouldn't surprise me if this deal was also on Xbox as a part of their free-weekend promo.
Agreed, the physical is the way to go for the base game. I really made the deal for the DLC as it's the first time its been on sale.

I loved Far Cry 3, really enjoyed 4 & Primal but did not like 5. I'm guessing I won't like 6 then?

I prefer this over 5 for the simple fact that the protagonist got an identity this time rather than just "deputy", "rook" or "captain" and actually speaks - makes the game feel more complete and integral in a way.. I see what ubisoft were trying to do in 5 and new dawn, but the execution was terrible.
Gameplay is largely the same - start on an island, shoot some people, blow things up, defeat mini-bosses before facing the big boss but that rings true for most games in the series.
Replayed 3 recently, such a terrific game. I'll have to give Primal another go as I really enjoyed that (always enjoyed the hunting & gathering). 6 is fun but feels overwhelming and simply too big, I'm concerned it'll all get repetitive by the time I'm conquering the more advanced stages of the map / missions.

There is a free trial running form the 24th to the 27th on PlayStation if you want to try before you buy. Preload is already up on ps5 and the game installs at 91gb
