If your refinancing you don’t need a conveyancer. Just need a good bank or broker

Unless you are changing ownership structure or have something weird going on, no.

  • No. No one refinances their mortgage by themselves.

  • nah fairly easy just talk to bank. cut the broker as well. take matter in your hands.

which bank are you going to?

    • or just use a broker that shares their commission with you

  • Should be easy without one. Your new bank will arrange the finance approval then you just need to complete the discharge form from your old bank (some banks have them are online, for others you may need to go into a branch), can take around 3 weeks for them to arrange the discharge as they wont be in a rush to lose you. They will probably try to keep you as a customer too so that may be a good time to negotiate if you are interested.

  • Which bank are you with?

  • It is very easy to refinance. You don’t need a conveyancer. Who are you refinancing to?

  • Go with Rams for the 4k, then when you get it go with someone else. It's such as easy way to make a lot of money.
The idea it 'hits your credit score' is a joke, the bank may flag you for a closer look but of your making payments you'll be fine.

  • You do it yourself. There is a fee for the land title office but you don't need to do anything, the bank pays it on your behalf.
