Think the RRP is actually $129 but Good Guys had them marked down to $44 previously. Such a rip off for a plastic mold but $4 is a bargain.

Be careful before you buy if your frame model is 2021 as the description says it only fits 2019 and 2020 models.
Also 2022 model is just out and will be available for sale in April

Check your model year for this, the deal is only for 2019 and 2020 years.

  • Are the Frame TVs any good?

Looks great on wall, but UI is absolute garbage. Hate hate hate it.
Bought a Firestick and just run everything though that, made the TV dumb by disconnecting internet. This thing is EXTREMELY ‘talkative’ when connected to the internet. Also, it puts stupid ads in the title block, I knew about this prior to buying (The Mrs wanted this TV purely for aesthetics.

If it was up to me, I’d rip the thing out. Samsung products will never enter my house again. Rant over, thanks for the opportunity to vent.

      • What he said.

Quality of the LCD is top knotch, photos and art look dreamy which is mostly all I use it for anyway so that is a win.

      • +1 on this. The UI is terrible for what's supposed to be an artsy fartsy tv. Mine arrived slightly damaged too and Samsung blamed me for it.

Samsung products will never enter my house again. I should have just gone a C1 or A90J and been done with it.

      • Aesthetics wise there are no other options?

        • LG G1

I own the G1 and the frame.
The frame has great QLED colours, but its edge lit, so no local dimming, no deep blacks but does perform well for what it is.

I had to run the cable through the wall and put the box containing all the electronics in a different location, so for the money you will get a nice thin wall mounted TV.

If you have the money and want something slick, the LG G1 or forthcoming G2. But you will pay!

          • @InLaymansTerms: That G1 is a beauty. Although it’s twice the price of The Frame, in hindsight I should have saved harder and convinced the Mrs to get this.

            • @harryv: Yeah I have a lovel 77” G1 in my bedroom. It’s so nice. It was so easy to wall mount. It’s pricey but it’s honestly so clean.

The C1 & G1 vs the QN900A but it was more about the picture quality than the mounting systems.

The C1 is horrible to wall mount FYI. Avoid if your wall mounting.

  • ordered one even though I don't have a Samsung TV but the price is too good to pass up, might use it for something else
