      That's a shame, I was waiting for the tab A8 Lite to be released to get for the little one, mainly for you tube and some basic kids games.

        I have a AldoCube iPlay20 off Banggood.

        Paid $180 or so for it. 4GB RAM 64GB Storage. For the money it slaps.

        I use it sparingly though, mainly as an off-road navigation and multimedia. I'm pretty happy with it.

      Already have that for one kids and they're happy enough with it. Looking for another one and if it's comparable, this will do!

    Prob be alright just for streaming stuff for the kids or they can play games/learning apps etc. Dont need an Ipad at 3 times the price when they will likely trash it anyway.

      Partner bought a new iPad for her kid as she hit grade 3 or something and required them for school.

      Lasted less than a week before the screen got smashed.

        That would be right. Handing fragile tablets to small kids is just a recipe for disaster. Kids dont have a concept of value with these things. They will get thrown around.
