  This same product is $530AUD at the zavvi US store. Everything ships from the same UK location anyway.

    $70 less is over 10% cheaper. Considering they both get posted from UK warehouse definitely worth buying on the US site

  Seems I will skip adding this set to my collection.

  The best price was $490 from Zavvi US. I don't think we're going to see that price again. It's not worth $600 in my opinion.

  What do people do with these expensive LEGO sets?

  Is it something you keep left unopen for investment purposes? Or do you build them for display or play with?

    Usually leave them in the cupboard for a few years, until you find that rare moment you actually have time to open it and build it!
    The larger sets are great fun, the technic ones often with very complex gearing systems and/or remote control.
    Or you could hold onto it for years hoping it appreciates in value I guess. Does take up a crapload of space though. Bitcoin or similar probably an easier option.
