Ryzen 9 Cooler

I'm looking for a reasonably priced, but good, Ryzen 9 CPU cooler for a build that I'm currently doing. I need to pick something up from MSY, PLE etc within the next few days so not necessarily looking for the cheapest deal.

Thanks

Coolermaster ML240 / 360 if you are able to go AIO and want cheap otherwise a big Dark Rock / Deepcool or Noctua cooler is recommended if you are letting it loose in terms of voltage / all core turbo.
For example a 5950X let off the chain in terms of turbo / voltage limits is enough (280W+) to give most 240/280mm AIO's a decent run with only top flight air coolers being able to keep up.

Deepcool AK620? Gamers Nexus gave it a good review.

TechPowerUp also gave it a Highly recommended badge.

Been selling in Australia for a while now. Costs $99, cheaper than the Noctua NH-D15.

There's also the Arctic Liquid freezer II, highly recommended by Gamers nexus as well.

I am using Ryzen 9 5900x + Liquid Freezer II 240mm (the smallest one, because of case constraints) and the thermals at full load are around 73 degrees C after 6 cont. hours of stress testing.

    • How loud is the LF240? I have a Kraken x63 and it is pretty annoyingly loud. I prob don't have it set up right though.

      • Basically inaudible. The two 7200RPM hard drives in my Meshify C case are louder than my AIO cooler.

If your Kraken fans are loud you can just replace them with Noctua's or Arctics, saving you the expense of replacing the entire unit?

you might also want to check that your cooler is installed correctly. Incorrect installation will cause bubbling noises and reduced pump lifespan.

    NH-D15?

can get from newegg for less than $120 but you have to wait for shipping. Appears to be about $50 more expensive in retail shops in Aus.
