  Deliveroo sucks. Last time I put an order through, had to wait for 2+ hours before finally decided to pick up the food myself. The restaurant claimed there's no driver around. And no chat support either so can't cancel or amend the order.

    Same thing happened with me with Menulog, took over 2 hours to find a driver, 3 hours before food was delivered. I guess it isn't unique to just one delivery company and depends on the area.
