  • There's also a "SuperDeal" model for a few dollars less with only 4pcs left. If you're wanting to buy grab that.

    • Can't see what's in the super deal do you know?

      • It would be just the Standard I would think.

        • Ah maybe my brain translated that as it came with things 😂

          • +1

@janoski: It would have been part of the weekly "AliExpress SuperDeals" and they probably have stock left over allocated to the promotion.

    • They've increased the stock. Ends up being $361.59 US

Not a perfect tablet and it really depends on what you're doing with it. But for the performance you can't beat the price. Under $580 with the keyboard cover is excellent.

Pentile display? Widevine issues fixed or easy to fix? Have heard mixed things about this model. Someone on the last deal said they regretted buying it..

    • +1

I should have a deal on a decent alternative tomorrow if you were wanting to wait. Not as fast as this however.

    • +1

It works pretty good and it's really fast, but the "global" OS is very minimal (and every time it boots there's a warning that it's rooted).

  • So this screen can't output 1080p for Netflix and Disney plus?

    • Its not just the screen that dictates the resolution of netflix and disney plus. Even if the screen can output higher than 1080p. If the device is not widewine L1 and the soc or sytem on chip is not whitelisted and the official apps dont display 1080p or higher. Then you may just get SD quality out from netflix and disney plus.

I know others have suggested sideloading the netflix app they downloaded outside of the play store. Be aware these have been blocked before and quite possible they will block it again.

  • If anyone has info about root or custom ROMs for this, please let me know

  • Is this worth paying $140 extra over Clear's previous deal here for the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro (2021 model?):

Not much difference except for slightly faster CPU and slightly better GPU? This is the 2021 model, do they have a 2022 model released yet
EDIT: decided to buy this one but can only get down to $498 with ANNI30

  • Anyone know where to buy the keyboard cover case for this?

  • Read additional Feedback from reviews "A week after I received the tablet, I noticed a lot of jambs. For example, the system is very raw this is not even pure Android even worse. The update is also not provided. The display has a pair of non-working pixels., many applications work unstable due to system not compatible., system partially in Russian language translation is not complete.. 90 Hertz work. In general, I do not advise this product. A powerful processor is not enough for applications to work stably. Raw system."

    • This tablet doesn't have an official global release like the others so the ROM was translated. I'd expect there to be a lot of translation errors for Russia. If they mean pure Android that'd be stock AOSP, while Lenovo and other brands have modified interfaces based around stock Android.

  • that unstable tablet so you can't use app properly. I would recommend Xiaomi pad 5 over this trash.

    • Which apps did you find unstable?

    • I have been using this tablet for about a month now. I haven't found any issues with any of the apps. I am running the Global ROM though.

      • Do you have Widevine/Netflix issues with the Global ROM?

        • No issues, I have the L1 Widevine on mine.

Just to clarify, the ROM that I have is ZUI 13.1.549 ST which I am assuming is what's called the Global ROM?

          • +1

@batrarobin: ZUI would be the Chinese ROM. I guess it's just translated.

            • @Clear: Oh ok, must be the Chinese ROM then, sorry about the confusion. It runs pretty smooth though, I had to delete most of the pre-installed apps and had to install the play store manually.

              • +1

@batrarobin: There's not an official global release so having a translate Chinese ROM is probably the best option.

  • Darn, that's 70 roos less than what I paid Banggood and then still had to play with the rom for widevine.
