  • This or the Mi pad 5? Which one has more grunt?

    • +4

Xiaomi Pad 5 has more grunt with the Snapdragon 860. Though you can't expand the storage via MicroSD and there's no GPS.

      • +1

Thanks, Looking for something smaller and somewhat powerful so the UI doesn't lag like my samsung A8.

      • Can you claim this on tax?

        • +1

They give you a tax invoice you could use to claim. They have no ABN due to being a Chinese company but there is tax on that invoice so yes. At tax time you'll need to use the exchange rate of the day you purchased to claim the equivalent AU$ amount.

  • +2

was contemplating between the P11 and the Mi pad 5. the pricing for this is right in the middle of both. got the one with the original case. thanks OP.

  • +2

Excellent price. I got the 2021 model recently which is slightly better and more expensive but absolutely love it.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/lenovo-tab-p11-pro-2021

  • +1

Is the P11 on sale too?

    • +1

Yeah I just removed the expiry from my deal the other day as it's about US$2 cheaper. I'm fairly certain it's the best price around

      • Are you supposed to pay via USD or AUD?

        • +2

Do you have a card without currency conversion fees? If so you set the currency to USD, pay with PayPal and at checkout choose to bill the card in USD. This will get you the best rate. Otherwise PayPal's conversion of AliExpress' AUD rate may be inflated.

    • Genuinely seems like the p11 is the one to go for,

It's a lot cheaper, doesn't have the bottom of the barrel "OLED" which is just there so they can put "OLED" on the marketing and it doesn't have the widevine L1 issues.

  • Do they have local AU stock (as they do with some of their products) for the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro model?
If not, do they ship from mainland China within 4 - 6 weeks?

    • +1

No AU stock so ships from China. It could take 4-6 weeks. Maybe even 2 weeks. Hard to say.

  • More coupons from SocialGood for Aliexpress!

    SOCIALG6M - $6 off $60
    SOCIALG13M - $13 off $120
    SOCIALG22M - $22 off $180
    SOCIALG30M - $30 off $250

    • Been a SocialGood user for months but I will never shop using them ever, even they bring back 100% cash back. .

      • Never heard of them until I started reading this offer. What's the main issue with them in not wanting to use them?

        • They limited the amount you can withdraw to $500US which I have already excessed, so I literally seeing the value of SG tanked from $1 to $0.45 but there's nothing I can do.

Despite saying they are offering staking reward every 6 hours, I have yet receiving any rewards after staking my SG for weeks.

More than 50% of my "approved" SG went disappearing from my stake, all SG people I spoke to ignored my messages.

I mean, I am fortunate to get some SG out and sold them for UST, but after seeing what I have seen, this might very much be a Ponzi.

          • @moneytomyway: I'm so confused. I need to do some Google searching.

  • What is the issue with Widevine L1, could someone explain it to me please? Thinking of buying this.

    • +4

Remove preinstalled netflix app and download the apk file would fix the HD streaming issue (widevine l1).

      • +4

Yes its all well and good. Til they block the side loaded app. Its happened before and i will guarantee you won't be the last.

The only real solution at the moment is to only buy widevine lv1 tablets with a whitelisted system on chip or cpu. And running the official netflix app from the playstore.

  • Thanks, purchased one. Finally, an upgrade of my Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7"). Hope the OLED will at least match mine :)

  • Any deals on P11 Plus by any chance?

  • +6

Just be mindful warranty is troublesome. And tho it comes with Android 11, there is no security or os update.

I bought a unit previously and the security and google update is stuck back in 2020.

My unit screen is not working after slightly 1 month + use. Been communicating with seller since early March till today still no clear resolution.

My experience has been negative but I bet there are many happy owners out there in au

  • Where are the ozbargain developers?!? 😃

These Lenovo p11 tablets could be so good for the money if there was any form of aftermarket rom development!

    • +1

Have you looked on the XDA forum

  • Well rounded tablet, excellent price.

  • have this tablet, very happy with it

  • +4

Have the 2021 p11 pro. The screen is garbage btw guys. Pentile = worse performance than my 10 year old gameboy advance in darker scenes, near unwatchable and you can see gridlines in grey scenes (such as a browser in dark mode in an empty tab for example).

If you crank the brightness all the way up and only play vivid stuff like games and cartoons it's okay.

Don't say I didn't warn you when yours arrives.

    • Are you talking about the same model as this deal, or a different one

    • Thanks for your feedback, apparently the 'P11 Plus' doesn't have those issues.

    • I just tried your test but I don't quite see it (tried Chrome/Brave ~15-20% brightness). In my view the text isn't super crisp (compared with retina iPads) but it's fine to read PDFs on (e.g. magazines) without zooming in.

  • O crap! I paid $380 a week back and it's already shipped.. I have already made a loss of $35 before it has even arrived :(

    • +2

But you might get $35 worth of value by having yours before those people taking up this offer. Two weeks (Optimistically) so your getting a head start of $17.50 per week.

      Or something like that. 😁👍

      • +2

Didn't really cheer me up but thanks for trying mate. I hate this game..

        • +1

I'll try to do better next time!

  • Can this play Genshin Impact smoothly?

  • Is this global firmware?

    • Yes. Chinese firmwarw would be ZUI.

  • any recommendations for Android tablet with 4:3 screen ratio like iPad? I intend to use it for reading pdfs and the screen ratio of 16:10 in Lenovo and other tablets makes them undesirable to me.

  • +1

any recommendations for a case? Is the protective case any good or are there better 3rd party cases

    • I just bought the original case. Doesnt seem to be too much more expensive than the normal case?

  • Has anyone seen a wall mount for these?

  • Table on the sellers page states 350 nits, table on this page says 500. I want to use this outside, which is it?

    • +1

Check the Techtablets review and it'll show you.

      • review doesn't mention nits

  • That's weird - when I put my address in at Checkout it deletes the ANNI30 code and bumps the price up above what it started at.

    • $338 in cart BEFORE I add address, then removes coupons and goes up to $409 AFTER I add address. Says "Promo Code can not be used in conjunction with other offers." but I'm not using any offers?

      • +1

Yeah, I'm having the same issue.

  • +1

Is this a proper Global ROM or just a Custom one they have knocked together?

  • +1

I don't think the ANNI30 code works for this because the code only seems to be valid on items over $300 USD ($400 AUD).
    ANNI22 seems to work.

    • ANNI30 is working I just tested. It takes US$30 off US$250.

  • L1 seems broken on this now.

    • What do you mean?

      • My guess is widevine level 1. Used for getting netflix playing fhd and higher content.
