  • Have these boards, work just fine at Ngkala Rocks - however the colour is a problem. While we were extracting ourselves, we found a sand-coloured recovery track in the sand. Get recovery tracks that are easy to find…

    • +1

Was going to suggest the same thing.

Recently, on Saturday, we were bogged on a particularly soft section of the track incline coming off back beach for the salmon run.
I got out my trusty eBay blue Trax, and we got up. Went back to give a Triton a hand when we got through, he had proper name brand Maxtrax, in a beige colour. It was overcast/cloudy, yellowy sand and my blue Trax stood out clearly. This guys beighe/sand coloured Trax were really hard to see.
Noted why people have bright orange Trax on their roof (unless in red/orange mud)
The blue Trax were clearly visible, not many terrain would be blue in colour, unless I was in the word, in which case, Trax wouldn't be much help anyway.

      • I got black Maxtrax with orange tells, never had an issue with them (in WA sand is either red or white/beige). There are heaps of options that are good, sand/beige/grey certainly isn't one I would want.

    • You can also get a leash to throw on them https://www.bcf.com.au/p/maxtrax-telltale-leashes---pair/622…
