    I have just bought $4, 2Month Ultimate Australian Trail from ebay for my Xbox.
    Can i buy this offer now and use it when my 2mth Ultimate trial expires?
    I have access to Express VPN
    Like other users I am just after 1 year.

      Any account with an expired subscription (or no active) can be used. But if you already used the $1 promo on that account, you'll have to pay $15.95 instead to upgrade. If you're going to do it in 2 months then you are best off waiting for another deal closer to the date in case you have any issues with the keys. (These deals happen quite often)

        Also just to understand for when i try to redeem it in future.
        1) Turn Express VPN for Turkey then go to Eneba site purchase the Live Gold on offer
        2) still with von Turkey on go to Microsoft account and add redeem the live gold code.
        3) turn off vpn log into same Microsoft account and add $1 to turn it into Ultimate for 1 year.

        Have i got the steps right?

          VPN is only needed for step 2. But the rest is right.

          Additional note: Make sure the region in your Microsoft account is set to Australia before redeeming the Gold. This doesn't need to be changed to Turkey.

          Yeh sometimes for whatever reason it goes with the US timezone and thinks you still have a subscription if it ended within the day.

      That's why you need the VPN to activate, as if you are in Turkey.

    Hi all, anyways I redeemed this deal, it definitely works but after using a VPN to upload the gold to the turkey Microsoft website everything goes well:

    However two problems

    1 the bank card must be used in its issuing country, and when I do that it gives a error message
    2 the 1$ deal does not exist in Turkey, and I have no idea what 44.90 turkey lira is comparable to, it's clearly not 16$ because I purchased a 10.000 turkey lira gift card for $4 au however when I compare it via currency conversion it states it's value is $1.90 Australian dollars.

    So to salvage this account, can someone help with how many lira I'll need because it couldn't be 50 lira, because even 100's confusing enough.

    Any help thanks.

      P,s I mean 10.000 Xbox gift card purchased on eneba.

      Luckily I didn't pay 3 years because I had a suspicious feeling this would happen, luckily PayPal paid 10$ on it for free.

      But overall there must be a way to salvage this Xbox account, it's new has gold but cannot pair it in anyway or form unless I by 44.90 lira worth of gamepass clearly I screwed something up between step 2 VPN, and determining when to activate gold.

      I also tried migrating the turkey account to Australia so gold converts, but all I can say it it's almost impossible to find that feature unless you simply beg Google search.

        You are not meant to be paying anything in lira for this. I think you made the mistake of setting your Microsoft account region to Turkey when it should have stayed as Australia the whole time. The purpose of the VPN is purely to activate the keys and turned off straight afterwards, you are not meant to change anything else on your account. The only way to resolve this would be to contact Xbox/Microsoft support and tell them you wish to upgrade your Gold to GPU but can't because you are in a different region now (Australia). They have fixed this for others here.

      They don't technically expire, but due to the grey market nature of this it is risky leaving them unused for a long period (if there are issues with the keys).

          They are, but they are codes only intended for use in another country/market (Turkey), hence grey market. Also Eneba is an open marketplace with multiple merchants so there's no guarantee you're buying from an "authorised" reseller.

              @shevron: The motivation is that grey markets have a lot of demand simply because it is cheaper due to regional pricing, that's why this deal exists. Eneba is built for key sales so it's just easier to sell on.

              Scams are easy to handle (Through Paypal/Eneba). The concerning part is how the keys are ethically sourced, see the G2A scandal not so long ago, G2A are another key-selling marketplace. It got so bad that the indie devs would rather you pirate their game than buy from G2A.

              So far theres no evidence of Eneba supporting these practices and they seem to somewhat screen their sellers but theres always the possibility. In this case you aren't potentially hurting a small indie dev but rather a big corporation named Microsoft.

      You do not need VPN for step 1, though it probably does not make a difference (but may trigger security measures for your credit card/Paypal).
      Step 2 can be applied on any existing or new account. The country/region in that account should be always set to the country you are living in (eg. Australia). It needs to stay as this at all times in the process. The code is region locked to Turkey for activation only, hence why you need the VPN for this step if you are not in Turkey. This way it will activate even if your account profile does not say Turkey.
