          • @Thrifty Dan: They had offer on here limeblue 6x

            • @huntabargain: So that’s still $25.27 per kg and prepaid. I think sicilia is with a lot of offers under that price without even using any vouchers…

              • @Thrifty Dan: LimeBlue: $25.27 delivered.
Cicilia: inc the voucher 1KG ORGANIC CREMA COFFEE BEANS $23.9x0.9=$21.55+$8 del=$29.55 and probably nicer coffee (haven't tried Sicilia tho.)

In the past I bought 3 kg to share with family from coffeewarehouse.com.au used to be $25/kg w free delivery if spend $75, price went up to $28/kg now, but it was outstanding beans.

                    • @huntabargain: Fair enough. Watch out for Pablo & Rusty’s, they used to have a subscription offer (50%!) so I got the Taylor’s street blend for $49.50 3X 1Kg (original price $99 per 3kg. That brought the kg price down to $16.50 per kg! I understand you don’t want to get 3kg delivered at once. I believe there were smaller sub offers, too.

  • +1

These guys also lightly roast the beans. The batch I received just last week were the lightest roast bean I've probably ever tried. Trying to cover all coffee brewing types with the light roast.

    • +1 their roast level scale is bit lighter than say Lime Blue or Airjo. Tasty beans for sure though. Very third-wave I guess

  • Have been using the very light roast Kenya beans for the last few days - the coffee has jammed my Breville Smart Grinder Pro three times - unfortunately I've given up on the beans and thrown away about half.

A real shame as the coffee from the beans was absolutely delicious!

No issues with the other beans (yet) but will advise if I face similar problems. Just a warning to others with the Smart Grinder as I think it has a bit less torque than most grinders.
