  • Brand-spanking new. Can't even find any reviews or comparisons on YouTube!

What I do know is that these earbuds are an outlier.

  • Has anyone heard these?

I have the Aurvana Trio LS which sound like utter trash, conversely I have the SXFI amp which I've been reasonably happy with.

    • Oh no. I had high hopes on these. Are they that bad?

  • SXFI dac/amp has had some fairly significant connectivity issues, however seems to have a synergy with my Sennheiser 6XX's and has a specific EQ setting for them, think I prefer them out of the SXFI over signifcantly more powerful and 'high end' solutions which is pretty incredible, given the size of the thing.

  • Wondering if I should take the punt and buy these. As they are new, nothing about them anywhere

Only review I've found is negative - https://musicphotolife.com/2022/04/creative-outlier-pro-revi…

It's from a Singaporean source as well (Creative are SG based) who sounds like he's genuinely sad to give it a bad review but then somehow gives it a 4/5 review.

Sounds like this is probably just going to be a waste of $100, I can't properly articulate just how bad the only other creative IEM I have sounds.

I get the feeling creative are just churning out new buds without doing that much development to keep up with the "chi-fi" companies. I have the Outlier V2 and it was a pretty decent bud

  • No aptX, for those who care.

This video is hilarious OP - the buds had digitally been added to the video in the most unprofessional way. I guess they're too big to be "elegant". Look at 1:01, her ear vibrates like crazy 😂

I have a pair of the V3s and they're decent - i really just cared about play time as i use them for work and am often on calls all day… i guess the noise reduction has been beefed up in this version plus more mics and a larger battery for even more playtime?

  • I am happy with the Creative Outlier Air v3, they are still $72.95
They have wireless charging, ANC and ambient mode.
The main drawbacks I found with them were the huge case, which appears to be identical in the pro.
