Belkin 25W PPS USB-C PD Wall Charger & 1m Type C Cable $27 + $10 Delivery (Free C&C/ Orders over $50) @ David Jones

160

Needed a couple of extra chargers. Found this 25W PPS USB-C PD (latest adaptive fast charge technology) wall charger at DJ's which includes a 1m USB-C to USB-C cable. It is $39.96 at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com.au/Belkin-Delivery-Charger-Adapter-En…. The same charger without the cable is $29.95 at JB HiFi https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/belkin-boostup-charge-25w…. I bought 2 so delivery is free.

(I am using it for 2 new Pixel 6 Pro's. Note that due to Google's charging algorithm the Pixel 6's don't charge much faster with PD PPS chargers than with the old 18W charger. See this article. https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-6-charging-tes…. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro draw max 22W and 23W respectively. You will need to check spec and requirements for your devices.)

  • P6 Pro owner here - agreed on the slow charge rate. Best for me is ~18W with a Dell 65W USB-C PD charger, also the ZMI 815 PD power bank (using USB-C not USB-A). No improvement using a Samsung PPS charger.

HEYMIX 45W GaN PD wall charger included 100W PD cable for $28.16.

    • Looked like a better deal until I read the reviews. 20% one star is too many. Seems like it runs hot despite being GaN, is noisy, just doesn't work sometimes, needs an Aus adapter (which it come with) etc. At least buying the Belkin locally means it is easier to return if there are issues.

    • You're welcome.

    • Also price matched at jb for $27. The online price is $44.95, but in store the sticker was $39.95.

      • Price matched online, but went in store and got it price matched in person. Had the receipt sms'd to me, and registered for the $10 coupon. Price matched again online today and could apply the $10 coupon, so got 2 of these for $44 total.($27 + $17 = $44)

  • Does this work with Apple macbook air m1?

  • Price has gone up to $35 now.
