It looks like a rebadging of Rocoren 100W GaN USB Charger.

    • +4

Rebadging is done by almost everyone including Belkin, Satechi, Spigen, Alogic, Ugreen, Rocoren, Cygnett and many more.

      • +1

Has anyone ripped off Cygnetts Explorer 200w Power station? I want the chinese copy.. 😅

Rebadging is done by almost everyone…

So are you saying it is rebadged?

In which case, would the cheaper one in the link be just as good?

        • +1

That one does not come with an AU plug

          • @moomoosan: True, but figure 8 cables are easy to come by for most people.

        • +7

There are 2 ways it works. Either you modify the housing/shell or you modify the internal components. For instance, you may notice similarity in our Powaforce 100W GaN 5 and Belkin/Alogic 100W models but we have upgraded the internal components with the Navitas GaN 5 chipset while Belkin/Alogic models use an older version. So I cannot guarantee Rocoren uses the same internal components. Our model has been certified to Australian standards already.

@ibelievesyd: Not to mention the varied inclusion of heat dissipating components such as thermal paste, charger mass, heat sink in similar looking chargers that can have a material impact on the longevity and reliability of the charger especially if the charger is being used for prolonged periods under maximum load.

          • @ibelievesyd: Thanks for the clarification.

Either you modify the housing/shell or you modify the internal components

Typically, many people wouldn't associate a meaningful or substantial change in the internal electronics components with what is simply referred to as a rebadging exercise. It seems like you might be underselling the improvements made to your product?

For many, "rebadging" suggests the same or a very similar item with just a different badge, name or label. That was my initial assumption here as well. It might be beneficial for your reputation, sales, and customer understanding to use terminology that better reflects the seemingly significant upgrades you've made.

Personally I prefer the Baseus one with the power socket, it's very useful for a bed side stand or work desk.

  • Ordered one, any idea when these might ship?

    • On or Before 15th November

  • Trying to place first order with Zyron, will first order discount stack with this offer?

Happy to try Zyron first time…

    • +1

I just tried, you can't stack them sadly

      • Will stick to Anker probably then.

  • Does this have an unnecessary light on top or is that just a decal?

  • Ordered one, haven't had luck with Chinese charging stations and will be interested to see how one built to Australian standards lasts.

Figure 8 power cable makes for a great travel charger. Buy your other non Aus figure 8 power cables on Ali Express.

This one seems to be 10$ cheaper and twice more powerful https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007389732810.html

  • LAUNCH44 is not working for me and I am in the Time Frame.. Little annoying as I promise then too 2 people as gifts. Any way to fix it.

    • Did you sign up to the mailing list?

  • I think the price would have changed to $54.99 by now.

  • I subscribed to the mailing list, got confirmation email and even signed up an account with subscribed email but I have this error:
    Enter a valid discount code

    • Never mind, seems the price jumped up to $54.99.
      I’ll buy another one then.
