Tubular skylight and solar vent recommendations

Hi All,

We were looking to purchase a tubular skylight (around 250 mm as we need it for the hallway) and a solar vent (preferably just one big one to vent the whole roof cavity). Do you guys have any recommendations? My friend suggested Solar Bright and we got quoted $800 and $1000 for the skylight and vent respectively (this is excluding installation). Not sure if this is a good price so just reaching out for some feedback on this. We have tried to contact other suppliers and so far we have not heard back.

    The size and number of roof vents you need it determined by the cavity volume of the roof space. Several sites that sell roof vents have calculators so you can get it right.
    To supplement an existing hard wired vent, we installed a thermostatically controlled solar powered vent also - quick and easy installation

    we put in a couple of the Illume skylights in a hallway, and also in a bathroom. Made a massive difference

      I have 3 Illume skylights with the toilet on a backup power pack for night time. Excellent lights but expensive.
