  I remember watching a short let's play of Insurmountable when it came out - actually looked fairly decent - isometric, survival style game.

    XCom-2 is great.

    You can also edit an INF/text file to change lots of attributes, like increase health, movement, weapon damage ranges, flanking bonus etc.

    Makes the game a lot easier if you don’t like having so many of your soldiers getting killed, as it can be a very unforgiving game.

    Here’s a tip. Don’t name the soldiers after your kids and let them choose the hair style and armour skins!

    On an early play through, I named my main soldier “Don’t Die Daddy” and well, let’s just say he didn’t live up to his name lol.

    My eldest played it when they were 12 and refused to ever play it again as most of their starting squad got killed on the first mission after spending so much time naming and customising each soldier!

    You should try Xenonauts too, more original like original XCOM with some usability updates.

  X-Com2 is epic! Just got for the switch and PS4 (doh!).
  Is the PC version buggy at all?
  Sadly some known bugs with some missions on PS4 I found out. Game crashed and deleted my ironman save rescuing the VIP + 2 friends :(
  But so much replayability in this one, must have for the collection.

    Only listed issue is to do with the game launcher. Seems okay. Not sure about mission related bugs though, maybe some unofficial community patch available for this game?

  I pre-ordered XCOM 2 after enjoying first one, it's sitting unplayed in my Steam library. Claimed it here too cause why not.

  I see the multiplayer mode got shutdown last month, does anyone have any mod recommendations?

  Xcom2 in vr is pretty cool. Seeing the landscape pop
