  • Is this any good for dash cam?

    • +1

Generally, yes. High endurance cards (eg. SanDisk Extreme) are more durable though, particularly if you have parking mode or you live/park in hot areas.

    • not really, for dash cam you want endurance types of sdcards.

    • +1

Not the best but I have been using the this same card but in 64gb capacity for more than a year and has been fine. YMMV

    • Why do you want 256GB for a dashcam?

      • +1

        to record footage….

    • No. Some (not all) of latest batches of the Ultra use their 3D QLC chips.

Dash cam needs 3D TLC. Get any Samsung or Sandisk Endurance range.

  • Would this be any good for a Samsung tablet?

  • What is typical write speed with these cards?
I have one and it is about 35 Mb/s - not sure if it is normal or if the card is dud.

    • +2

I bought one and tested it's also less 35MB/s writing, a little disappointed though full capacity shows real.

Warning: Only 243950 of 243952 MByte tested.
      Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
      Writing speed: 32.5 MByte/s
      Reading speed: 68.2 MByte/s

      • -2

They are not asking if it is an SSD

They are asking if it can be used for PS5

        • In that case, yes this can be used in a ps5

  • +1
