Endler Guppy Breeding Pair $9.99 ($5 Each) + $12 Postage ($0 SYD C&C) @ Sydney Aquascapes

112

$9.99 for a male and female Endler Guppy pair! If you wanted to try breeding some fish these are some of the easiest you can have a go at. All postage is combined, so it is $12 flat no matter how much you buy.

Endler Guppies are live-bearers. They don't lay eggs but instead bear their fry (baby fish) already hatched. Take care of the babies with either finely ground flakes, or a lot of moss or algae on a well-established aquarium.
The parents will eat their children, and although we personally have not had many issues with this, separating them is never a bad idea. If you are new to fishkeeping, we recommend you read this. It should be all you need to get started!

Feel free to ask us any questions you have.

These things breed like rabbits. I bought 6 of them once, and before I got them home there was 8.

      Yup, pretty fast.

Sometimes I hate Ozbargin. Why am I tempted to buy fish when I never was before, and I wouldn't even have a clue the usual price anyway.

Buying fish online is very convenient and time saving! Saves ringing up or messaging shops which half never reply looking for a certain variety of fish. I've found there isn't much range or stock in VIC compared to QLD and NSW There a few online stores from QLD and NSW which are very good and a few trusted sellers/breeders on Gumtree. So far never had a fish DOA however, some haven't adjusted well when putting in the tanks…so I've resorted to putting them in a small quarantine tank first where I can really control the ph etc and slowly introduce the main tank water to it.

I never bought Lego until Ozbargain just before covid started. My spare room now is filled with unbuilt Lego boxes. Its to the point where I probably have to sell some of the big unbuilt sets. I'll just never have the room to build and display.

      • Hey sunny-boy (preferably orange) … re:

That's a sad story man. Your lo$$es will be at least 50% on every sale, and for no joy. Kick this juvenile 'LEGO-buying' habit now amigo.

Orange was the best! Haha The big limited sets will be ok. The little crappy ones will be a total loss. Yeah I've slowed down a lot. Want the boutique hotel and delorian though. Will wait for sales though

  • Will you ever stock Caridina Typus?

    • +1

Possibly, we will post when we do.

      • Thanks, I will keep an eye out on that.

  • Typically waiting for my tank to cycle and a deal comes up.
3 weeks in and still not there 😔

  • Yep, can concur on the eating their young thing (how terrifying for those babies!). As a kid, had Guppies and the joy of seeing a bunch of live ones in the tank was replaced with the horror of realising the next day where they'd all gone.

    Definitely separate them immediately.

    • Where did the last one go?

The parents will eat their children

    What !!!!!!!!!

  • This deal smells fishy!

    • Scale back the fish gags

Nerver buy fish online especially guppy, even I bought many guppies pick up from the shop, they all died after 2-3 weeks.

Hey Mikhail! We refund all dead on arrival, so there's no risk buying from us.

If your fish died from a pick up from the store 99.9% of time there is something wrong with your setup that is killing them. It is very rare but sometimes we do get people messaging about their fish dying and I try working with them to find a solution. I usually replace what they lost anyway even though it hasn't got anything to do with us :)

      • What about when you sell tropical species to buyers living in the approximately half of Australia that is NON-tropical, without telling those peeps that they will require a water heater to keep their purchase alive … and (of course) the animals you send them die for that reason? Will you:

        '… refund all dead'

        under those circumstances?

        • You repeatedly do this dude, so heads up, I'm not going away. For the sake of the animals you sell and the buyers you sell them to, you need to actually state in your posts flogging tropical animal species that those species are in fact tropical. I'm astonished that you've gotten away with not doing this thus far, without being shut down. I wonder how many of the animals you have sold to peeps in Victoria, Tasmania, lower NSW and WA (etc.) have died so far, because of this. Hundreds? Thousands?
