Howdy - are there working deals/tricks to get free/$1 listing and final value fee ebay listings these days? Does the list on Gumtree trick still work?

Unfortunately ebay sold off gumtree, so we are unlikely to see that promotion coming back ever again.

Yes will miss that free listing option- the final value fee is nasty.

I only sell (or try to sell) occasionally on eBay so maybe I've missed something but when was the last time eBay offered any free or discounted fee deals to sellers?
Ebay have also moved away from Paypal.
The fees got too high (listing fee, final value fee, paypal fee) but it does bring in a good traffic of customers.
Free listings have to be under $1 which means you list them at 0.99c starting bids I think.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
