Oh, good, it's an official huwder. I was worried about getting a knock off.

I mean that can be said for pretty much all of these chargers. There are only a handful of OEM's. What will differentiate some of the higher "brands" is minor tweaks to the design if they have a higher order quantity, and also their quality control requirements. "give is 10,000 of whatever you have" or "give us 10,000 but you need to test 1 in 50 of them".

That's why I'd spend more on anker etc. Not this =p

    • If only it had AU plug i would buy

      • From the image it does

  • only 4 reviews and they appear fake…

  • spam - normal inflated price

  • name may cross of huawei and chunder

Living up to your username 👍

  • So frustrating to see this garbage saturate the market. It's OEM stuff rebadged.

What's good? I actually am in need of new chargers.

    Heymix

There are so many with amazing specs but none are made by reputable brands.

    • I'm using a HEYMIX hub, and I think it literally just blew up my laptop. I just unplugged the hubs power and laptop now shows zero signs of life.

      Don't buy cheap crap.

Yeah, I'm not gonna go near Heymix. I know a lot of folks like it and have had no issues, but I nearly died in 2013 from buying a cheap micro-USB charger (it exploded and the sparks scorched my desk), and swore to never do it again.

        • Awesome. Lol

          • @mckayver: It was so scary

Not sure if you think I'm telling porkies, and these images won't prove anything, but this was my desk at IBM.

The 3 marks near the cable in the 2nd photo were left by sparks that flew from the plug.

            • @giventofly: I believed you the first time. I meant awesome story to tell. Just lucky you didn’t get a piece of hot metal in your eye.

        • one of the cheap heymix just died. didn't explode but just stop charging. What do you recommend to super fast charge s22u?

          • @spiinl: I'm leaning towards Anker, Belkin or Samsung's new 65W.

I want GaN, PPS and PD with at least 60w

  • Hodor?
