Champagne Carbon Brut NV had an RRP of $399 when first released in Australia. Sill around that mark on other sites such as Prince Wine Store and Emperor Champagne
The Carbon Brut NV was reduced at Dan's to $249, then $199 and now the most recent $149. Seems like the importers are clearing stocks

    I’ve watched enough blind tastings from “experts” to know that no sparkling white wine is worth this much lol

      Worth it or not that is personal preference, i've had this and while I probably wouldn't pay $400 for it, at $150 i'll grab a few bottles

        line it up with 3 other bottles of the same grape variety that cost $20-50, do a blind tasting and then tell me what you personally prefer.
        But yeah i get it, paying $150+ adds to the taste, that's the way the mind works.

    Be aware that DM's often parallel import products, these can be old duty free stock or exports that didn't get shipped. Obviously Champagne doesn't like sitting in a warehouse or shipping container for long periods of time.
