Wuben C3 LED Rechargeable Flashlight USB C - US$16.99 (~A$22.84) Delivered @ Hekka

530
HekkaWubenC3

New all time low.
Got one in a previous deal and it is good for the price. Not sure i trust the 1200 lumen claim as it doesn't seem as bright as a 1000 lumen torch from LEDLenser but may be due to the different beam spread.

Only holds 1200 lumens for 1 minute before starting to step down. Expect 3 weeks minimum for shipping.

From manufacturer's website

【 Bright Plus Long Throw 】Delivers a maximum of 1200 lumens cast a long throw of 179 meters, C3 offers you the biggest support in the dark.

【 Outperformed German LED 】Utilizes 1*OSRAM P9 LEDA, C3 features reverse battery installation protected circuit to ensure you have quality light and safety.

【 Multiple Modes for various 】Feature High, Med, Low, Eco, SOS & Strobe modes to cope with different needs.

【 Lightweight & Compact 】Tiny and lightweight, with a length much short than a Smartphone( 121.5mm * 25.4mm)plus weighs only 123g, C3 is easy in your pocket or shoulder bag for everyday use.

【 Premium Material & Waterproof 】Built with an aircraft-grade alumina alloy and has been treated with an oxidation process, C3 survives underwater within 2 meters for 1 hour.

I picked up two of these little flashlights from Amazon around $25. Definitely worth the price.

    • +2

      Me too. Totally agree.

Had a slow but good experience with Hekka before. Took the punt, seems like a good buy.
      Thanks Bazing4!

I didn't need one as I always stay home since covid… but it seems like a good deal, so I got one.. sigh.

    bought one today.
    it's the OzBargain way!

I feel like i want to buy one, but why do they always have to have 6 light features. I like 2 , fully on and 1/2 brightness. This one has 6, so each time you want to do something, you have to click it 7 bloody times. So annoying! Can anyone recommend a good torch without all the strobe and SOS functions. Lets be realistic, no one has ever used the sos strobe function….ever.

    • Headtorch or normal torch?
What do you want to spend?

There are a millio brands these days, i love my ArmyTek Elf C2. Very different price range to this though.

      • I want the same as this torch for about the same price (listed above)

I’m a fan of the inova x2 by nite ize. It’s probably expensive for its specs, but I like that it uses standard aa batteries (envelops!) and I like the colour and consistency of the light (for a torch).

I have an old x2 which only has one brightness setting, and a newer x2 which has two brightness modes (high and low)… I also have an x3 but that takes cr123 batteries.

Have a cheapo 15 Aldi torch and a couple of $5 eBay torches over the years. But the x2 is much more satisfying to use.

Keen to hear other peoples experiences re torches!

This doesn't work how you think.
To turn it on/off, it is a single press and it defaults to which ever of the 4 brightness levels you last had it set to. To change the brightness, you half click after you have turned it on.
You don't cycle through every brightness each time you turn it on/off. I agree that 4 brightness levels is too much though and I probably only use 2 as well.

The strobe and sos are activated differently so you don't cycle through these. Strobe is a double half click after it is on. SOS is a triple half click after it is on.

    $24.18 for me.

    • $24.18 for one and $66.18 for two.

      EDIT:

And now the coupon doesn't work.

    • Have you got the site set to show AUD or USD?
Need to pay in USD to get the cheapest price and then it's up to whether your bank has international transaction fees etc.
Even letting paypal do the USD to AUD exchange was $23.xx.

    • $24.12 for me. Exchange rate fluctuation maybe? My second C3. I like the solid feel, size, output and that it's rechargeable without removing battery. Would be even better if it doubled as a USB power bank.

Definitely worth the $24.68 I paid for it a few months ago!

    • I'm sure it's worth around that, if you need or really want one. I alrteady have a topn of small flashlights I rarely use, just thought the

fact that it has a charging port build in is a plus, but only want it when on special haha.

Yeah, my Sofirn IF22a just arrived from Amazon this morning, along with my AliExpress Nitecore order of a LA10, NU07LE and 2x NU06LE's! 😁

Joining my collection of a LEDlenser P7, Sofirn SP36 Pro, Wurkkos WK30 and Olight i3e. 😅 Last one I REALLY want is the Noctigon K1 in silver.. And maybe a Manker MC13.. 🤣

  • I keep checking Amazon for their discount to this level, then I miss the Hekka deal again.

My fault though, I had plenty of opportunity with the previous Hekka deal, but was concerned it was an older stock of these that apparently had some issues.

    • You remember what the issues are?

I'm such a newbie with my C3 and can't double-click it properly yet.. 😅 When I first got it, it was almost impossible to get the modes.. thought mine has an issue. Could still do if it's a button issue.. 😅

      • +2

Something about over-charging the battery a little.

        • Ohhh. I don't think I have that issue thankfully.

          Thanks for the information though!

    • underrated comment

  • Anyone actually received theirs from this deal yet?

    • +1

      Nope

    • +1

      It's minimum 3 weeks, more likely 4.

    • +1

Mine arrived today so just under 3 weeks surprisingly

      • Cheers, likewise. Issa bright light.

    • Got mine yesterday.

Was a bit worried as it didn't seem that bright and couldn't work out how to adjust (and didn't read the manual obv), but appears it should be fine based on other comments.

  • The amount of spam coming from Hekka after this purchase is astronomical.
