On sale! (normally $89) The Akko Black and Pink PBT Keycaps ASA 158 Keys includes 158 keycaps that feature a Black and Pink theme, double-shot PBT, ASA keycap profile, and is compatible with most cross stem switches.

This is a good sale considering everywhere else is selling it for $89 (Amazon or Aliexpress or the Akko website or Epomaker). The reviews are really good for these key caps and they are considered just as good as the GMK ones.

I've been told that these will be discontinued by Akko soon and replaced by new ASA sets in the upcoming weeks (or maybe it's alr happened).

For new keyboard-enthusiasts, ASA is slightly higher than OEM and Cherry. It's more rounded and have a 'thocky' signature. You might need wrist rests to use these though…

      I bought the red samurai's from the drop sale not too long ago. I love the sound it produces, its so different from pbt!

      No they don’t so not suitable for everyone.
      Bought one without knowing it and still sitting in my drawer.
      Really nice PBT keycaps though.

        Yeah, bought some of the YMDK ones in the past and some keyboards are just too dim to be bright enough with lights around the keycaps…

        Even harder is finding South-facing shine through keycaps… Kinda regret not going for a North facing board.

    I had a set of these and the stems were moulded poorly and ended up breaking after about a week on the shift key, it's unfortunate cause they look amazing

      Crap I just got 9009 Retro 3098B directly from Akko. Anything I can do to prevent it in your opinion?

      I've had three key cap sets from these Akko, and haven't noticed any major issues.

      I've not had the privilege to try GMK keycaps, but I have bought clones in the past. Akko imo are nicer than the clones that I bought.

      I'm currently using their black on white set.

    Pair these and some good budget switches and you have something way more solid/substantial than you're average Logitech gaming keyboard.

      I can also recommend the prebuilt Akko 3098B/N. etc. off aliexpress if you don't care for building the keyboard yourself. but it comes with the added bonus of 2.4ghz wireless, mac/win key switching. My 3098B came with the same PBT keycaps as per this deal.

    Nothing much on google. I'm trying to replace the caps on my daskeyboard prime 13 (need shine through and double shot caps). Any insights are appreciated! Thanks :)

      They are average. If you absolutely need shine through keycaps, i recommend getting pudding keycaps. They look the best for RGB and they shine through.

        What would to recommend specifically may I ask? These caps are $55 shipped for me so I'm guessing that's an ok deal for average caps with shine through + double shots? I'm still new to the keycaps world/basically a noob tbh, any other pointers would be awesome :)

          HyperX pudding caps are ~$50 on Amazon and seem well reviewed. Legends look clearer than the set you posted, if a bit boxy. Though you'll have the HyperX logo on the space bar.
