Where to Buy Mens Clothing Other Than Uniqlo?

Any recommendations on good places to buy mens clothing other than Uniqlo?

My whole wardrobe is mostly Uniqlo and so are my friends and I was wondering if there are any other options that offer good value for money.

Looking for casual/comfort wear - i.e. what Uniqlo focuses on

    Kmart
    Big W
    Target
    Rivers

    and so are my friends

I can guarantee you won't wear matching clothes with your friends this way. The variety and range is so big that it would be mathematically impossible.

      Lowes?
      Best and Less?
      Aldi?
      Costco?

Don’t buy from rivers online 😬

You guys got caught wearing the same outfit when you last met up didn't you?

Guys don't care about that do they?

      • +8

        Nope. They love it.

A respectable gentleman requires a respectable suit. Lowes has got your back. Just ignore the ones in the first row.

Having bought one of those Hot Pink suits, it's thin rubbish garbage, but it looks great and made nights out on the town so much more interesting. People would buy me drinks, those self-promo nightlife photographer people would give me freebies, and people would regularly want to get photos taken with me.

      Wild experiences.

Same thing happens to me when I'm out on the town and take off my shirt.

    Hermes

    Louis Vuitton
    Aliexpress
    Burberry
    MJ Bale
    Gucci
    Zara
    Tom Ford
    Peter Jackson
    Brioni

Some, none, or all of these may fit your requirements, style, and budget.

Lol, never even been into Uniqlo. Always just looked like cheap crap there.

    Myer. Always stylish.

Uniqlo is popular with asians because the fit is better. As in, tops are not too long but I think the clothes are way too plain.

Warning: The following shows how much of a cheapskate I am:

I've had good luck at H&M.
My secret to success is I worked near one, so would pop by often on my lunch break and go straight to their clearance sections, I've never paid more than $5 for an item of clothing there.

I'm also partial to shopping at Vinnies, some decent clothes/brands for dirt cheap

    • What are you best pick-up's for $5 bucks? Pics?

I used to get mad cheap hoodies, pants etc there!

      • Pretty much the same for me. it's ruined me for clothes shopping as I'm loathed to fork out more than $5 for most items of clothing now
From H&M (generally all $5, 1 or 2 items may have been $10):
        3 pairs of chinos
4 pairs of trousers (work pants, 2 blue and 2 black)
cargo shorts and cargo pants (all pockets have buttons, love them)
        Black hooded jumper
        A few T-shirts
        A few work shirts
        Jeans
Probably more that I can't recall

At Vinnnies I've picked up Nike workout shorts and Armani Xchange shirt amongst other things

Are you seriously asking for a list of shops that sell clothes…

    • +4

Welcome to the new google for people not quite smart enough.

    CottonOn is decent.

  • Op Shops often have good clothes at good prices.

  • Vinnies ! :) but on a serious note - what is the purpose here, just to have other brand in your wardrobe, but with same look & feel? don't fix what is not broken I'd say

  • Ghanda Clothing

OP, how old are you? Genuinely curious because youth might explain inexperience.

This is OzBargain, he is just as likely a 30 something white collar city slicker that likes video games or lego…

driving a Toyota but tells everyone that he has a high yield merc amg. is on 300k, grad salary, nearly got scammed on Facebook

  • So vague. But if you just buy staples and bascis, J. Crew and Everlane ship to AU, and are a step above Uniqlo in quality.

I will never give up buying from uniqlo

who cares unless ur female… wearing the same clothes as someone else, nightmare, for guys, friends for life

  • asos

  • Banana Republic
    TM Lewin
    Witchery

The first 2 only online, I understand.
And since you are in Melbourne. the Posh Opp Shoppe in Glenhuntly Rd often has good quality designer items.

  • Conner, maybe Tarotcash

Surprised no-one seems to have mentioned these - thanks heaps really starting to doubt my style choices now.

Saba on sale is pretty good. https://www.saba.com.au/sale/man/

    • Yes, otherwise very pricey.

  • Uniqlo quality not bad at all.
Most of my clothes from Uniqlo.
