Are they all valid till 30 april?

  • Can we book in advance for Jurassic World? May release.

    • No, must use the gold class ones by 30th.
But there are some available for longer but cost much more

      • No worries thanks

      • The restricted one is 28.50 and the expiry is 30/04/2023.

        • Yea but cheapest is unrestricted due 30/4/22.
I personally wouldn’t choose restricted as the gold class times aren’t as often during day time

          • @Darkjimick: Appreciate it might be the case for some locations but there are definitely no issues with plenty of day time sessions available to choose from for the Gold Coast region for Gold Class.

            • +1

@Coastgirl: Lucky. In SA we only have Marion and they offer dismal time slots when it’s not a night or weekend.

  • Any good food deals on the site? They seem a bit shit

  • +1

Seems weird I can't use it at Geelong Village but sure.

    • It says excludes VIC Regional areas

      • Geelong is considered regional.

    • If it helps, I used the RACV ones at Geelong Village successfully.

      • Cheers. Were they said to be not for regional?

Manage to get tickets for some friends, choose a random movie and then change the booking to Dr Strange on May the 4th. Not sure why it let me choose it since it's past the 10 day use date but not complaining : ^)

    • +1

How were you able to change the booking?

    • +1

Hey @jeo can you please share how you did this. I have tickets expiring shortly. Thanks

      • +6

Event Cinemas lets you change your booking once, so after you buy you go to My Tickets > More Actions and is should let you change it. I did mine on desktop

        • +1

          Thanks mate

          • @livo81: No problem!

          • +1

@livo81: Can you confirm if this worked for you please?

            • +1

@kazer: ahh I can not select dates passed Sun 01/05….

    • +2

Just wanna share with everyone that this worked for me. Now booked for Doctor Strange for May 5. Weirdly enough their right ">" button wasn't working for me, but what you do is you just pick a date then press your right arrow key to get to dates later than one week from now.

      Maybe this helps? @livo81 @kazer @Gojkins

      • Does this work for both participating ticket providers?

        • I only tried with Event Cinemas, sorry.

          • @Zaenille: thx for the quick response, appreciate it!

        • doesnt work for gold class tickets in may through village

      • unfortunately this didnt work for me.

Did you book the tickets under your account and then modify from there. I didnt do that unfortunately, i am trying to change the session, and when i click on the button as suggested above, it doesnt allow me to select past 30th unfortunately :( Help lol

        • I did book using my account, but I'm not sure if it works without one, sorry!

        • guys i emailed them and they were great about it. They have moved my session to the following week and now im watching Dr Strange so it ended well. I would suggest if you try what @Zaenille has suggested, you book whilst logged in.

          cheers.

      • For a second I thought this worked as now the 04/05 is available, but I swear this must've only been added today as I did the same things yesterday and only saw 01/05. I can only hope that over the next few days more dates will become available. My original booking is for the 29th so still have some time.

    • can confirm this worked for me, thanks!

Crap experience in gold class Parramatta, people bringing in newborns lol I hope you see this comment

    • +1

Lol first mistake was going to Parra, mate.

      • Never again lol

      • Lol I go there too.. Didn't realize I was making mistake.

    • +2

Parramatta has been woefully maintained. My last few visits there, upon entering the cinema to take out seats, the place was a dump. Popcorn, wrappers, drinks etc

    • Agreed - parra gold class is essentially cattle class

  • +4

Used one today for Secrets of Dumbledore. Take your voucher in to save $1.50 per seat in booking fees.

  • Had a cheap goldclass voucher already that had to be used by the end of april so grabbed one of these as well and booked dr strange on the 4th without changing the booking.

booked in for Everything Everywhere for me and my friend thanks OP!

    • Great movie. Enjoy!

    • I suggest everyone watch this movie, so so good

    • It's incredible! Enjoy.

  • Link when checking out says 403 forbidden. 😔

  • +1

If only Top Gun was due out sooner..

  • +1

Thanks OP!! Bought couple of tickets

  • Can the $8.80 Unrestricted eVouchers be used by kids or are they only to be used by adults?

    • We have not had any problems with our kids being the occupants of the seats booked with adult tickets.

      • Same here

  • +1

I can’t believe the vouchers are invalid for Geelong, only reason I bought them! 🤯 just took it as Rosebud, Sorrento etc.

    • You tried it and it didn't work?

  • You can claim 25% back from the Vic Dining & Entertainment program, cheap times!

    • Thanks for the reminder! What merchant details do I provide? Neat Tickets or Village?

Edit: Nevermind, it would be Neat Tickets in this instance as there's no receipt from Village.

Hi guys for me it worked when i booked doctor strange on the 8th (sunday) for event cinemas with the serial code and pin provided after you've paid for the evoucher without needing to change from movie in date to doctor strange as mention prior. it only worked without a cinebuzz member logged in and all you had to do after was pay the service fee.

    • @kang so you are saying when you purchased the tickets and purely booked on the 8th, it allowed you to do it. Is that correct?

      • +1

yes i did it total 4 seperate times

        • Just did two. Thanks mate worked a treat. Cheers!!!

    • So only works for the 8th?

      • i havent tried other dates as thats the day im intending to watch it

Website is completely broken on payment screen - no buttons on screen to proceed to next payment step (multiple browsers)

    • Checking developer console, it's from a missing clientToken for the braintree payment API. Either it's an unintended bug, or someone said "please take this deal down" and did it was done in the weirdest, worst way possible.

Edit: this was last night - it's working again today (Sat 23 Apr 7:31am)

  • +1

    Not currently working.

"EVE-MOV-ND-ADU-022:Currently unavailable, Waiting for further codes to be issued by the supplier. Please check back later.."

    • Nooooo…

Was planning to buy some :(

      • +1

I tried again this morning and it worked for me.

        • +1

I just checked again and I'm getting the same error :(

The code doesn't seem to be reducing the Event & Village Cinemas Unrestricted eVoucher to $8.80. Adult tickets are $17.50 on my end.

  • Can these be used for the cinemas with recliners? If so, I assume that there would be a surcharge for doing do?

  • If anyone has bought and not looking to use it today, I am looking for 3 tickets
