“ ni hao bar “ ….. not a racial thing about who eats oysters , but the buzz /vibe / theme and so many of the patrons might be asian ……vs “ railway hotel bar” which might have a different vibe / buzz/ theme , guess you could go and have 10 oysters and a glass of water and leave but maybe because it’s a theme bar people so hang around and have alcoholic drinks with maybe asian themed beers to match ….. which is is where they make their money once people are in the door.
I’m sure any people of Asian descent in Australia will talk about rugby and V8 cars …

Don’t be too jealous, they used to have $1 oysters in cairns at the Hilton and they were about the size of a peanut. Not even worth $1
Would be careful about eating oysters sourced from NSW with the recent rains. Tried some Sydney Rock Oysters last week and they certainly weren't up to usual standards
