I dunno if it's just me, but the idea of a phone stand where the phone isn't elevated enough to have a phone cable plugged in underneath is silly.

  I don't find it a huge issue.
  When I need a phone stand, I usually place my phone horizontal on it, to watch video/ zoom meetings.
