    Nice post!

    On a side note, what are people's opinions on the Razer Blackwidow. Read plenty of positive reviews regarding mechanical keyboards, would like an Ozbargain perspective - ie: is it worth the money?

      if you actually look into mechanical keyboards, you should know there are different types. the razer in question uses "blue" switches which are what typists prefer mostly. i have a blue switch keyboard myself and i dont use it for gaming cause the switches are too light and my G19 gives me a better feel. But for coding or typing in general, its quite amazing to touch type on.

        You really believe that mechanical keyboards will improve your typing performance?
        More moving parts and switches wont give them a long life before they play up.

      I was in the market for a mechanical keyboard a few months back, and I've heard that there were some quality issues with the BlackWidow, although I don't know whether that's been fixed now (Check Google + youtube).       In any case, I eventually bought a Ducky Shine (brown switch) from here: http://www.mechkeyboards.com/shine.html

      The Ducky is built like a tank, and is absolutely fantastic to type on. I didn't buy it for gaming, mainly typing, but the Ducky is one of the few solid mechanical keyboards that includes media control keys (through Fn combo), as well as a dip switch for disabling the windows key. I highly recommend it.

      It's a free rewards card you can get and use at any EB Games store. You need this card to be eligible for this sale. You can either sign up online now, or just pop into a store on the day and ask for a card at the counter.

        I had a chat to the manager of my local store, he said that while only members got told about the sale, he will be allowing members of the general public access to sale prices.
        However it is up to manager discresion whether they require a membership or not :)

    Is this a good price for a PS3 these days?

    Ive still got a 3.55 console… and I so rarely use it I'm wondering if 3.55 even works with newer games.

    Before anyone assumes I'm a pirate, I'm not. I'm a game collector. But I hate changing discs and don't play multiplayer, so 3.55 is a win for me.
