    At this price, your better options are the HIFIMAN HE400SE, Sennheiser HD 560S, and AKG K612 Pro, though only the HIFIMAN is at that price right now. AKG stock via Amazon UK is the play for K612 best price.

  Ended up getting these, first impression is that they sound good and are built to a high standard, hopefully be tough enough to last a few years

    I caved and bought too before @jasswolf posted above - agree with your comments, may not have the widest sound stage for gaming but sound amazing, even without an external dac/amp, and love that they come with 3 different high quality aux cables

    I bought these and I think mine are defective - the low-end response is vastly different on each side, making them unlistenable.
