  The model below this sells for $35 in office works, and the model above sells for $53. Not sure $44 is such a great deal.

  Not bad, but I'd be putting my money into the better looking (IMO) Altec-Lansing VS2621 for $42 @ MSY.

  Based on reviews, I'd say it handles the 7.5W per channel and 13W sub a little better than the Edifier. But it's pickup, not delivered, soooo…

    Yep, Altec…good brand and defo reliable…had several models, always upgrading, and never been disappointed.

  Never heard of the brand before … is it better than Logitech, JBL, Altec Lansing etc. ??

    I think they are all the same. But IMO JBL is a better brand.
