  • I got one of these (last time they were 50% off) - very happy with it.

    • me too, got a QB… 50% off is pretty regular too. Anyway, i was worried initially about not able to test it but turn out pretty happy with it… btw, i find pillow very flat… not for everyone… a bit disappointed with it, expensive too

I've never seen their site without 50% off. I reckon OzB code for 60% ;)

Can anyone tell me what they put the mattress on? Can you use any base or are you just meant to put it on a bedding frame and use the mattress only? I dont know anything when it comes to bedding apart from my 15 year old bed needs changing.

    • Slat base normally IME.

  • if slated make sure not more than 7 cm for gaps(explained in the website)… basically i put 2 pieces of 12mm plywood between my slates and mattress

  • How do these compare with ikea mattresses?

Don't know, but I recently bought a Sultan Hagavik QB and I'm very happy with it.

  • Bought a king size a few months ago. pretty happy.

Sorry, neg from me…no deal here, the price is the same as it always is on these! Good mattresses but the 'sale' is BS.

  • So where can we test these? I'm assuming people arent outlaying this kind of money without testing first.

no testing, leap of faith…. assured by reviews of others…

Very good item imho, bought one on feb and it is as promised. no heat at all and i am like an oven at night. the memory foam works great and it is great for those who sleep on the side. i used to have pain in my shoulder as i sleep on my side all the time, after using this, the pain has gone. One bad thing about this is that, you can not use normal pillow (not prefered) as the memory foam works by molding your body with your body heat. once you use the normal pillow, your head will not sink as your body sink to the mattress. the pillow i recommend is another memory foam one or the very thin one or else you can get a sore neck in the morning.

Overall, the product it self is good and according to the review

  • They always have this sale on, however it is a very good mattress for the price so its a PLUS from me.

  • I bought from them; same price as last year. However, they are awesome mattress. Don't be shock if you see a smallish box at your door as the mattress will expand when you opened it.

  • If you do your research you will realise this is the usual price for this mob as stewballs says, for example just look in the forum here.

I've been keeping watch for a while now, probably should have went for the cudo deal on not long ago. May wait for them to have it again I think. $499 for queensize mattress. But was wondering if the toppers that they have now and then would be sufficient for me.

Link to the cudo deal had expired but I've linked it below anyway.

i dont think it is ergoflex. there are many fake memory foam out there just google it. Ergoflex has been reviewed in USA and UK as having the same quality with the original Tempur. The Queen RRP on ergoflex is only 1800 not $2500 as in Cudo. but i might be wrong

  • memory foam is a bad idea, i sleep on my side, back, front, other side, left side, right side, alone, with others … besides that, how will it help when i sleep on the couch 50% of the time?

    • +1

what does any of that have to do with memory foam…?

    • Have you tried a memory foam couch? :p

  • I won't neg it but there is no way I would buy a mattress without spending some time laying on it.
It may have good reviews but that's not good enough for me sorry.

    • Go into a HN store & lay on a Tempur, then you'll know! Just check the relative densities of the memory foam for firmness rating & then they're pretty much all the same! ;)

I have a Tempur, I got it a while back during a sale & after some hard bargaining for $1899. I love it! I've seen these & a few other knockoffs, they're almost as good…but only ever about 2/3 the thickness. I reckon my Tempur is way thicker than it needs to be anyway at 32cm, the 20 & 25cm versions don't really feel much different to me unless the MF density is different.

TBH, based on the ones I've seen I'd save the money & head over to fleabay, I was helping the wife's workmate do the research & she got one for under $400 delivered in queen size…it's only about 20cm thick but feels solid, nice & firm like my Tempur (the ebay seller advertised 70kg/m3 MF). Don't know about the long term prognosis, but for less than half the price of this, and 10% of the regular price of a Tempur (~$4k) you can't complain! :)

Don't put them on plywood though guys…coz they are so 'huggy' & porous they need to breathe, big time…moisture will destroy MF quicksmart! :o
