    @WatchNerd where art thou?

    • Hello @watchnerd !!

Hi, good price according to Camel. Just beware it's 51.2mm & the negative LCD display might be hard to read for some.

More specs here. Don't forget 6% Cashrewards.

People appear to be buying it from ozDigitalWatch for $139.00 but it's still available from Amazon AU for $99.99 here. They changed the link because there is a delay in shipping (Edit - hamza23 has fixed it now).

Also I found the Casio G-Shock GA-110-1A for $118.00 delivered. Camel.
Some might prefer to pay a bit more for this model as it has a positive LCD display.

          • @WatchNerd: Bad luck, missed.

Any recommodation for a cheap casio negative, I do need one during summer bush walking. Negative is a pro under strong/bringht sunlight.

            Ta.

            • @hgaoxhgaox: It's still available at Kogan as mentioned in the description, but if you want a cheapo this is the cheapest I could find, but like most Casio watches in this price range it has a resin lens - $39.48.

        • Agree, not a fan of negatives in general, harder to read, some people like it just because it's different.

    lighting doesn't look good.

    • Wow…that autotune is something else!

  • Battery is CR1220??

    • I have a G Shock, if you want to retain your waterproof when changing batteries, you'd need to reseal it with new gaskets.

      • Thats what they recommend, but using the old gasket should be fine if you just want to be able to wear it in the shower. It may not survive a 200m dive anymore

    • Yes. CR1220.

  • I was on the prowl for a decent durable watch, if only it wasn't 51mm

and i thought the stealth casioak was hard to read

Yeah I don't like negative LCD displays, maybe I'm getting old & my vision is going but why make life harder than it needs to be.

If I was considering buying this I would spend a bit more & get the GA-110-1A.

not so much the negative display - which isn't my favourite anyway - but the hour markers just don't stand out. and of course they don't think to add lume since they reckon people are just going to hit the light button.

  • Do these take Eneloops?

    • +1

      Yes, compacted ones.
