Recommendations on Motorised Standing Desks

Hi All,

Recently strained my lower back whilst working from home as I don't have a good ergonomic set up since moving into my new place.

What are people's recommendations on a nice sturdy electric standing desk. Preferably looking at a 180cm size with a wooden walnut finished.

Thanks in advance!

  • Can vouch for Omnidesk here, had mine for 18 months, zero issues.

Wait for EOFY deals if you can.

  • I've got a Desky corner/L-shaped desk. Very good quality, very sturdy. Highly recommended.
Mine is a walnut veneer finish, but if you just want the normal (i.e. not an L-shape) then you also get additional real wood options.

Desky, Omnidesk, Zenspacedesk - they are all the same (down to the pricing) I have found. Some have slightly different options in terms of accessories to match etc… Go with whichever has the right size/colour you want in stock and has the biggest discount at the time :D

  • I have a Stilford desktop sit/stand , easy up/down of monitor/keyboard without disturbing desk set-up
3 yrs on, its still brilliant

  • Thanks all you've given me good starting foundation!

Am thinking so far about getting a good frame from a trusted supplier (e.g. the link below from updown desk since its has $75 off and free delivery)

and then buying myself a timber top which through a quick google search, this one comes up as one of the cheaper options:

delivery for that above timber frame seems to only be around the $10 mark once all the taxes are included.

Keen to get peoples thoughts on mixing and matching like this or if I'm playing it too risky by doing that?
