    • Don’t you have to teach a kung fu class or is there not contact now? 😅

      • -1

Don't need to hit people now to hurt them just spit at them and they will get covid. That will teach them.

I use this often and its good. Compare to other rat kits like Hough, this one detects better

      Seems a bold claim

Rated very high sensitivity by TGA. TGA 3 ratings are very high, high and acceptable.

        Seems a bold claim

        is this more appropriate?

    What happened to covid ?

      Looks like Rug pull

It'll be the leading cause of death in Aus this year….

    • Yep, deaths are double before but most of them would be unvaxed or at-risk for other reasons.

    • -3

It's developing more severe everytime they have discovered a new variant whatever, and lot of people are believed in that.

  • -1

I thought we were more worried about the upcoming deadly flu season now… these seems pretty useless now

    • +14

Lol yeah….that's right…Covid is all gone. Never mind the waning immunity of those recently vaxxed or the reasonable likelihood of new variants.
No need to panic by any means, but for at least the next couple of years skipping a RAT and going out sick and infecting others will still be an incredibly irresponsible thing to do.

You know the bureaucracy. Drafting memos for everyone but the most important ones that need to know don't get it: COVID19. Someone didn't give COVID19 the memo the pandemic is over. It is still working hard at infecting people.

I bought a couple of packs of these and seem to work well, me and my youngest tested positive 😞

      • +1

A colleague of mine caught Covid 2 weeks ago. Lost of taste and smell completely, chest pain, feverish for a week. He's now negative after a week, but the tireness still there.

        • -6

So…. exactly the same common cold (coronavirus) that everyone alive has received many times since they were born?

  • Haha my work is still trying to sell these for $55. Tragic.

    • More people have died from COVID in Victoria in the past few months than the entire pandemic in total.
      If you consider that "over".

        • +2

You can say that about literally every cause of death. Oxygen deprivation to the brain is effectively the only real cause of death. You peanut.

  • +1

Or if you're in VIC, you can just pop to a testing centre and grab a pack of 5 for free!

    • VicGov is in so much debt, that budget was eye watering. Interest rate hikes aren't going to be pretty.

  • They're now $21 each, even cheaper!

  • +1

What? They've increased to $22.98 now.

    • $21.97 now

      • $20.25 now

Rat tests are pretty trash. I know plenty of people who tested themselves with various rat kits got a couple of negatives despite having all the symptoms. Then they went and got a proper PCR test and what do you know came up positive. Don't waste your time and money.

    • +1

And others have had false positives. Doesn’t mean you should give terrible unqualified advice.

Listen to the expert medical specialists, people.

      • -1

Yes, let politicians and media keep you living in fear so you buy more useless sh1t you don't need.

        • I don’t listen to them, for the reasons I already stated. So no fear here. Projecting again?

          • @Ulysses31: Projecting nothing, mate. The healthcare industry in Australia is worth circa $171B and rising and it got there by the "medical professionals" pushing the ideas that there's something wrong with everyone or there will be something wrong with them unless they buy more medicine, supplements, diagnostic tests, and sometimes under the guide of skewed or even falsified medical trials. Plenty of court cases showed just how corrupt some of these medical suppliers can be for the sake of profit or image. I think the accuracy of these tests is a lot lower than we are lead to believe.
