What type of tablet PC should I get?

Hi um i've never posted here before but I figured you guys are all geniuses so this would be my best bet haha :P
Anyway, basically I'm looking for a tablet PC, not an android or whatever, one with a keyboard and mouse as well. Basically I have 2 requirements; I want to be able to draw with it, because I'm studying fashion design in university and i just can't be bothered with paper and pens and rulers anymore (plus windows 8 would work soo much better). I also want to be able to play new games on it, it doesn't have to be absolutely amazing, but i'd say at least 512MB, preferably 1GB+ graphics card, and a quad core processor would be great if they're not wayy too expensive. I'm wanting one that is, well, a bargain (I am a student after all, and therefore poor :P)

So basically, a cheap (or at least, good value) tablet PC (Not android) with a multi core processor, decent graphics + RAM capable of playing modern games like Skyrim for example. As for storage, an SSD would be great if they weren't so expensive and low capacity, but yeah any amount of storage is ok if the price is right.. I can always get more :D I could pay more for a really good one, but it would have to be good value.

Thank you guys <3 sorry if my post is a bit derp, i'm heavily sleep deprived :(

    Not possible mate.
For modern games try at least 4GB RAM. Plus wanting it on the cheap does not work. You are looking at $1200+ here - really the minimum for a decent ultrabook.
In my opinion you should decide what you want - either a budget computer which you use for work/study or a rather epensive computer which can do it all.
If you do not mind me saying so your request is a bit like saying "I want a Porsche or Maserati" but I prefer not to pay more than $10000 for a new one. Lovely wishful thinking but not reality.

You mean slate PCs I believe. Again, they are quite new, not so much competition and for one that plays modern games you are still looking at $1000+ due to graphics card, processor etc.
I wish you good luck and all the best in your search. Happy to help you once you decide where your priorities are - study, gaming, or price as otherwise the choice is too vast.

      What is your budget BTW?
Gigabyte, Fujitsu, Asus, Samsung are your main options.

  • ok say my budget is like a maximum of ~$1500 give or take a few hundred, but i'm hella stingy so for me to pay that much it would have to be really worth it haha. like, quad core and good graphics. thanks for your replies :D

Edit: OP> can you reply or +1 my comment so I know if you read it? Thanks.
