Adobe Suite is expensive for students… you could just restart the trial using GenP-2.7

      • well ill be damned, have a +1, never knew about this gem

@Savas: Any other softwares u use with the gen thing?

            • @gimli: no.. you just need the Adobe software installed from the creative cloud and then run GenP.

      • never knew about this either!!

      • What is GenP-2.7 ?

It's just a program that restarts the trial for Adobe software. i downloaded it on Reddit using mirror 2. I used it last year but i think it still works.

A key for Windows 10 Education. It has more features than Pro, almost as many features as Enterprise.

If your current Windows machine works perfectly fine, don't use it on that and upgrade it to Education.

Put it in a password manager or a text file and put it in cloud storage. Don't lose it. If you ever end up in a situation where you don't have any other keys left for activating Windows, this can be your spare.

This key is valid forever and the university cannot track you through it. All they can see is that you redeemed a free key offer when you initially get the key from the store/wherever. That's it.

  • is autocad free for students?

thanks mate. so after 1 year and after the student email expires, the license cannot be renewed then?

        • +1

yes.. it stops working. Haven't looked into it but i think there are free TAFE courses that provide edu email. I think Autodesk also require proof like a picture of your student ID card or letter from university.

@Savas: Yeh, I recently got student license for Fusion 360 thanks to my kid :)
Had to upload proof, used student card but blurred out photo, DOB, middle name which I don't know why they needed to include on the card… pretty much everything apart from name, school name and card expiry. Got approval email pretty much immediately (think its via SheerID)

YES THIS. So many people in so many countries did not care about the expiry date or the fact I had a YOUTH card not the student card. So many discounts it was great!!

  • You can keep an edu.au email as an alumnus of the university.

    Edit: And they're free

    • Note that typical Alumni edu email addresses are blocked by Unidays.
