$50 Signup Credit (Valid for 6 Months), $6.50 Flat Fee (Per Trade) at Pearler Share Trading

50
COMMUNITY

PSA: we’ve launched a one-way signup code… use the code COMMUNITY to signup to a shares account in May and you’ll get $50 credit and 6 months to use!

Of course if you’re ‘one of us’ already you can use your own invite code and get this same deal 2-ways in may, yep that’s $50 credit each🤝.

Here’s the deal with COMMUNITY:

If to you ever wanted to invite a friend or help them get started but didn’t feel comfortable using your own code, you can now share the code COMMUNITY and the only person who gets credit is your friend. So you can grow this amazing community, just because.

Now there’s nothing wrong with sharing your own code and both getting saving a bit on brokerage, but we just thought this might be a handy option. Share it direct, in your forums, wherever 🌞.

See, we recently lowered our CHESS prices to $6.50, and we wanted to do something 6:50-ish to celebrate. Six months? $50? Combine them, and you have…6:50.

Refer a friend in May, and once they've invested, you'll both receive $50 of Pearler Credit to put towards investment brokerage. What's more, you'll both have six months to use it. Same goes for COMMUNITY except it’s one-way.

Note: $50 Signup coupon bonus cannot be combined in conjunction with signups via Referral. Choose one or the other.

Stake is still considerably cheaper depending on the type of investor you are you really dont need any other broker then cmc or stake

    • I was about to say the same thing. $3 flat on ASX trades, reduced to $0 with a portfolio transfer on stake. OP, what benefits does this service have over something like Stake?

      • Pearler has an auto investing feature so that you can set and forget and just automate your trades each month.

        what?

        • don't think he's actually associated, probably a troll.

Stake doesn't do joint accounts. It's a dealbreaker for me. Anyone know of a cheap CHESS broker that does?

      • I believe selfwealth do joint accounts

      • Stake doesn't do joint accounts. It's a dealbreaker for me. Anyone know of a cheap CHESS broker that does?

self wealth or depending on the kind of investor you are CMC would be your best bet

CMC looks excellent for drip feeding in under $1000 amounts - no brokerage at all. Suits my strategy.

CHESS, tick; joint accts, tick; no brokerage, tick. Am I missing something?

          • @TooSerious2: Their website states that the 'under $1k no brokerage' is: Limited to one buy order per stock per trading day.
All other buy orders and all sell orders are charged at $11 or 0.10%, so still not as cheap as SW. But then AFAIA CNC do not charge any monthly subscription for things such as live pricing, unlike SW and Stake (I believe the Stake subscription only affects US shares, all ASX data is free)

            • @scaryspace: Thanks. Looking to drip in to EFTs and a small portfolio. That's $5000 a week in free brokerage. Will more than cover me

Yeah ask Dream at number 3 u know me right if u need me anytime stop by

Pearler does indeed have joint accounts :)

As mentioned above, Stake is hard to go past @$3 per trade and it’s quite easy to obtain $2, $1 and even free trades for 12mths.

  • Stake is 3 dollar and if you transfer your portfolio over you get 10 free trades a month

  • Does Stake have lower fees? Yes. Is Pearler still better than a big4 platform if you are just "dollar cost averaging"… Yes

    • Isn’t the post about trade fees? If you’re DCA’ing Stake is still cheaper because you’re paying less than half the price of Pearler’s cost, especially if you’re someone who buys in very consistently.

Now if you’re purely comparing Pearler to other platforms (that aren’t Stake), fair enough.

      • I am just saying in the big picture of trading platforms, Pearler isn't that bad. People are probably doing trades on a big4 and paying $10 per trade. I'm not denying the fact I use Pearler or that I am a fan, I'm just saying do your own due diligence

  • As per https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/698490 it's better to use the referrals (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/api/referral/668) as that also gives someone else $50 as well as yourself!

    Mods asleep then

    • In the penalty box and didn't even get a pic of Scotty….

      I’m awake baby

  • My understanding is that the $50 can only be used to cover fees? It cannot also be used as actual investment capital?
I hope that query makes sense, thanks.

this deal is pretty bad, not even bargain

Pearler had a lot of its finfluencers scared away by ASIC recently, hasn't learnt much in terms of marketing.
