VERPEAK Portable Neck Massager $19.95 Delivered @ AZAU

970

Being a fulltime or casual OzBargainer is stressful work. Always trying to score the latest deal before it's sold out, posting a deal before someone else does or just having a big hissy fit because a first time poster forgot the price in the title. So why not get a neck massager to help relieve the tension? You'll definitely need it after trying to score this deal.

This one has 6 simulation modes with 18 intensity levels, 3 heating modes and for the controls there's buttons on the massager itself and a mobile phone app.

The deal kicks off on Monday 9th @ 12pm AEST. As with previous deals this often gets OzBargain'd with the masses overloading the site. Typically if the payment is stuck processing after PayPal checkout then you've got it and a confirmation email will follow.

Edit: Updated title as a few OzBargainers don't know what a cervical spine is somehow.

Plus for a nice description, already have a neck massager that I rarely used.

I won't have to give my gf cervical massages anymore!

    • +3

You do know that massages for your partner help to escalate to other things, don't you???
Outsourcing the massages reduces the chance of escalations….

      • +23

I give my wife massage to help her get ready for her boyfriend. Does this count?

  • This is for your cervix? :|

Maybe not for this particular brand but these items are quite popular overseas in asian markets, for quite a bit more. At least until the market flooded them with these. Kinda think of it like a mini patch heater on the neck with some electrotherapy added.

      • would a hot water bottle do the same thing without the electrotherapy ..?
        https://www.kmart.com.au/product/2l-hot-water-bottle-with-fa…

        • -2

At $20, i'd rather this than a hot water bottle. The electrotheraphy part is a bigger 'draw' of the product than the patch heater, but I'm kinda sensitive to those things so I turn it down and just keep the heat function mostly.

    • Look for one that looks the same. Many will have different brands.

At least they said the massage was good.

    been there.junk

    • really? for this same brand/model?

      • Looks absolutely identical and price bud . Brands models change overnight . Tired of returning or binning these online medical gadgets that I really do require. I felt 1 tiny pin prick just once from 1 of these off amazon . Maybe just gotta be lucky or spend lot more at a specialist brick store where can test b4 shelling out . Good luck to you tho. Affiliated ?

  • I’m feeling a lot less stressed these days now that there is a place for those who can't be bothered, not sure if it is a deal, don't have time, lazy, worried about feedback etc. to go

  • Looks similar to this over on amazon just different colour. Review are pretty bad https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08PFTG23X

    • +2

Did you read the reviews? They're complaining about the instructions lol

      • 2 people of the 8 reported it didn't work. 1 failed after 2 uses. The other didn't state how many uses. App seems pretty poor…hopefully extra functions aren't app only and can be accessed from the device itself.

I use a different brand which I purchased from Amazon. No app. It's been pretty good and has lasted almost 2 years I think

I'd rather be dealing with Amazon for warranty or returns too

        • It certainly seems like a few didn't understand how to operate it. I wouldn't expect this to be amazing or to replace the real thing. Does your version look identical?

          • @Clear: Looks like the one someone else put a link for a few comments below. Its been pretty good and a few of my friends bought that one too after trying mine. So far all have been working well.

  • Nice product If you cannot afford whole electric chair.

    • +3

Unless you have necks all over your body.

Here is what looks like a similar but maybe better one from Amazon at less than twice the deal price, with reviews.

1200mA battery vs 600mA, USB C, 1 year warranty, Amazon prime

    No app

  • If only people would start their deal at 11.59am to avoid confusion between midnight/noon.

I understand the point starting a deal at 00.01am, not sure about noon.

    • +1

If people struggle to understand the difference between 12am and 12pm I'm happy to provide some fun YouTube videos for kids teaching time.

nice, would fit on my johnny

  • To buy this crap or not to buy this crap, that is the question

  • is the site azau.com.au legit?

    • Yes. Dozens of deals under AZAU are hundreds under PC Byte.

Seems to be stuck on payment processing page for me

    • Same here. Normally if you get the Paypal confirmation then it's gone through.

    • Me too, zip pay and stuck for 7 min already.

    • Yeah my got stuck on payment processing but got paypal notification. Nothing in order history though

    • Same for me. Still stuck at Payment page. Got email confirmation from Paypal though. Is it safe to close the payment page now?
      Updates: Order confirmed.

    • Same but PayPal charged

  • 4000 clicks already??
    Bought 1!
    What does it do? Lol

    • After being stuck on PayPal processing page - it now says:

We are not able to find your payment, but don't worry.
You should receive an email confirming your payment in a few minutes.
If the payment hasn't been confirmed you can contact us.

  • Edit…I'm stuck on payment too.

Said.could contact ooddooo server , refreshed and worked after a minute or two

  • All gone! Now out of stock!!
Hopefully it's a good quality product!

EDIT - black colour out of stock, white ones still available at $51.95

  • After about 13 minutes of processing mine has gone through.

    • Same here.

  • Out of Stock already.

    • Yeah, OOS 30 mins ago!

I need help. No idea what this thing really does but got one anyway. Guessing it's like a ten's machine without the wires etc. Adding to my collection of items used once and put away

    • Place it around your neck and it'll "massage it".

  • There is a similar one for $34 from Amazon. Any thoughts?

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Intelligent-Massager-Portable-Broa…

    • +1

Doesn't look good imo, I probably wasted $20.

  • I bought one because of the description above.

  • +1

I just received mine.Feels weird! it's some sort of zapping. the warmth is good though…
edit: Downloaded the app and it made more sense. I'm actually love this thing!

    • Mine's coming today too. Great to hear you love it looking forward to it too!

      • Yeh, let me know what you think! I have been monitoring this thread to see what others think. I think the warmth also helps with this cold weather haha

        • It's interesting. Setting up was super easy. Dunno how people could complain about it on the Amazon page.
3 way of control, device, remote, app.
Guide and app are in English, no issue here.
It's smaller than expected (what she said) and a bit tighter (what he said)
Still trying to understand what each modes are.

    • What's the app called please? I'm using the Bluetooth remote to use it, feels weird.

      • Scan the QR code in the instructions

  • Got it today and try it, but the machine does nothing other than beeping when I press the button. Tried the app and the remote, don't make any difference. Maybe I get the faulty one ?
Figured out that I need to remove the plastic film on the device. Doh!

  • This is a dog collar. It keeps sending me electric shocks. Do not buy. Faulty and bad quality!!

    • Lol.
But seriously, try putting some water on your neck beforehand, should solve that issue.

      • Do you mean, add water so that it kills me faster? 😬😂
